Well, they didnt find a "primary" source of cancer, so they are thinking the lesions are benign.

They did discover other things going on with her though, and she may need surgery. But, as it stands, she and my dad are still coming over in June - so that is really great news.

Thank you so much for your prayers (tell your momma thanks too, ok). I know it makes a difference.

Things are starting to slow down, finally! Last week (not this one), we played s'ball Mon - Thur and had a doubleheader that Saturday.

We won our Conference 10 - 0 and have now started Regionals - the first game of which we won :D Our next game is tomorrow @ 11 am, and should we win that, we'll start Sectionals...not sure of the scheduling there.

This coming Tuesday is my last day of work for this school year and man do I need the break! Id like to just kick some of thier little asses, the little snot-nosed pricks!! LOL, can tell Im about done in??

Im THRILLED to hear the outlook is definitley brighter for your Mom!! Im sure your whole family is feeling extremely relieved!

Anyway, we've had a wild night tonight...tornado sirens going off, funnel clouds sighted in nearby towns - one right where we're playing tomorrow! :(

All is quiet for now...I'll have to check the tv for the weather before I go to bed. Its still l;ightning back in the south east...those big, long spidery streaks, ya know? theyre beautiful, but Im glad theyre moving away :uhoh

A week later and yes the storms are gone, lol. People here and there lost some trees or had some branches blown off but nothing serious where are :) Thunderstorms dont bother me as long as I know thats all it is. When theres the chance of tornados, I get all jumpy and scared :(

I hope your mother is well, Jenn. Is she there yet? That should be fun having your parents around. Congrats on the new car! I just bought one three weeks ago myself! I got a black 2003 Saturn Ion, but it is brand new. Got a good deal because its been sitting on their lots, and their 2005s were about to come in.

And save Daiqaronney from the tornados! We keep getting warnings here too. Thankfully, no real harm. The skies are always dark and yellow by 5 pm.

Hows the chilluns? Keto (my child) is good, as usual. Had to get an anti barking device that shoots a sonic sound when he barks, that only he can hear. It works.

I dyed my hair. I have alot of grey hair, and so does my sister! Had to dye it out. I was at a bachelorette party for my best friend a couple weeks ago and I had been letting myself go. My friend said my hair was sparkling from the grey. Nice...

I'm getting more work with printing/web designing. I am so busy, it isn't funny. Or it is. I got a new insurance benefit group. This was a referral from the title company I am working on now. NEATO.

That guy from Dark Myst e-mailed me about doing another site for him. I told him my rates went up and now I want credit for what I did (as he gave me absolutely none before). My base rate for a website is $500 now. With what he wants, it would be $1000. I received no reply. Hah! That's still cheap for a website.

Well I took a four day weekend, and now its back to work. Egh. Gotta get in the shower.

Well, gals, the news is still "iffy' regarding my mom.

I will call her tonight to find out if she is still coming.

Her and Dad are supposed to arrive sunday 13th, but last week they found a lump on my moms lung, and if they have to do chemo, they wont be coming. Needless to say, this has been most distressings. And quite a shock as up till now, the Docs have been saying "yes, go on your trip. Do not cancel"

She sees the specialist today and they will decide then which treatment she will need. If she can go on these pills, th en the trip is still on. (If she is up to it, which I am afraid the trip might really exaust her). If its the chemo, then the trip is definitely off.

My poor lil' momma. Im so upset for her. Daiqle, tell your mom to keep up the prayin'.

I am actually getting ready for work now, so I will write some more later. I sooo miss talking to you both. Our CHATS were the awesomest!

Im so glad both of you were able to get new cars! Poor Evie's was falling apart and Jenn's son kept hers in pieces, lol! Gabby was the first one to get a dent on mine, but it wasnt her fault. We got that taken care of when the lady smacked the backend of my Sante Fe a couple of months ago.

I'll call Mom later tonight and remind her to keep the prayers going full blast and mine will be in there with'em!! We're here, honey if you need or just want to talk :hug

I know this grey you speak of, Sonja...tis an evil curse! LOL, one guy said to me (back during the basketball season) that he thought it must be snowing outside cos it looked like snowflakes glinting in my hair! lmao Hes a friend and was teasing but yah, it def needed colored. Needs to be done again!

My kids are good, mostly, lol. Gabby will be gone for a whole week down to Disney World with her bf and his family. I dont worry cos I know his Mom and Dad will watch them like hawks!

Shes now going to have to go to 'alternative' school just so that she make up the credits she didnt get this year - I want to wring her neck! She really is smart, just incredibly lazy! And if she doesnt do the work this next year (her Senior year), she wont graduate. :headbash SHES the reason I have all my grey, lol!

Spring cleaning is up for the rest of this week, I think. Rain is supposed to be moving in and since we'll have to be inside, might as well use the time wisely, eh?

I reek, LOL! I was tired last night (from helping my folks yeaterday) and didnt shower...and to add to my stench, Ive been mowing at home, today. Must take a shower soon!

Ok, so the GOOD news is that my mom will not need chemo (so relieved) and so she will still be coming. She will be on medication from now on, and when she returns Im guessing they will combine that with some radiation therapy.

Anyway, they arrive Sunday around 4pm. Its gonna rock :)

The bad news is (though there is no comparison, I know), I doubt I will get on line at all while they are here. I have just started in a new position at work the past month or so, so getting time off is kind of a push. I am however taking some vacation days around a long weekend here in the begining of July which will give me almost a week off.

So, between work and my folks, I dont expect to be around. Not that we see each other that much of late, but its still nice to touch base.

I meant to mention congratulations too Sonja on your budding website business. That is an awesome bit of side income which obviously could become quite full-time if you had the inclination. You do a great job - outstanding. I know we've all told you that before, but its nice to hear it again!

Rebecca, how is your mom's new/old house? Moving is such a horrible job. You're so good to help out so much.

Anyway, I should be around this weekend, maybe I'll finally download AIM again or something and we can chat.

While my sister is in Illinois already, she wont be here until tomorrow evening sometime. She and her hubby are up at his Mom's, near St. Louis.

The cleaning and moving is on hold pretty much while theyre here. With a bridal shower and the wedding coming up, thats the last thing anyone wants to do. Though we'll all be busy, its still good to have her home :)

Still dont have a dress or shoes for the wedding - will have to get out this week and shop <...:verymad
