I have spoken with Jarek, and neither he nor I will be participating. My forte is the fleet.

This does not preclude anyone else from participating. You are all welcome to do so, as official representatives of the Empire or on your own. May the best man/woman/alien win.

The thing that has to be remembered is that he is most likely looking for a death mark upon his head. So we will simply not provide it. If he sees that he is not as important a thorn in our side as he wants to think he is, he will start to make bolder, and thusly more stupid moves.

Of course, that is a contingent should the plans to bring him in during the race fail.

I have not chosen my team as of yet; I will do so tomorrow. If you wish to volunteer though, you may.

I am thinking an Interdictor well placed will be necessary to pull Mr. Dantarno from Hyperspace at a certain spot in the racelanes.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I agree with your appraisal, Jacen is aiming too high, he did want a Victory SD for a base, showing he has very large plans and aims which he cannot meet. That is his weakness as you say.

Also - he doesn't have any suppourt from the NR, who I think are just as unconcerned with him as we are. So he is on his own, aside from 4 or 5 mercs. An easy target.

What type of ship should be used for the race itself.? Or are we even trying for the win?

I'm not interested in winning - I've been given an order, and it will be carried out.

Perhaps we can pursuade Mr. Hyde to have Terrisz'Voss build us a ship that while giving the illusioni of a racer, it is a fighter as well. It must be fast, and the firepower precise. I believe this will open the door to more [joint] projects, whether wanted or not, with Mr. Hyde and his company.

Also, I think I would like an additional interdictor in case Mr. Dantarno decides to try anything stupid. He may be an ant, but even ants must see the consequences of their actions when they defy giants.

Two Constrainer-class Interdiction Pickets will de detached from the Central Sector Fleet and placed at your disposal. They are small but each generate a considerable gravity well comparable to the work of a full-size Interdictor.

Just catching up on things as I have been away for a night (alot can happen in 24hrs can't it).

The Ministry of Propaganda will be talking this event up to our subjects. It iwll be broadcast on ImperialNewsNet Channel 11. If we win it will be a major PR coup because it will show how we are better than the Fed, allaying any fears the people may have about this newly active power.

There's a better chance of being targeted, being an overt Sovereignty officer would attract more attention especially since there will be 3 Sov Teams.

I'd much rather play fair then be a pawn in an undercover scheme to bring down a merc. Besides I need to exercise my piloting capabilities rather then strategic. I will be sure to shoot at him though.

Now to create my vessel. Is there any current design holding the designation Tsunami? I want to use that as the name of the ship.

It got complicated the more I thought about it. I'm still gonna try and win though. Getting Jacen seems to be the only thing the Sovereignty is doing at the moment. We still have to worry about the other racers.

I'd like to take a spectre corvette and do some unofficial scouting. I already talked to Telan about it, though I don't know if I sould go seperatly or part of the team.

This is what I was thinking. There will be two entries from the Sovereignty.

racer 1: North and Balades. If you wish, go ahead and work out a pilot/navigator-esque deal; or if you can think of something more efficient, go with that. Either way, this will be the ship that will be legitimately racing. Though if you gentlemen so desire, you may cause as much trouble for Mr. Dantarno as you want as it is an allowable action.

Racer 2: Myself, and a small group of Crimson Corps (and another volunteer if someone wishes to). This particular ship will be more combat ready, and will be the one tasked with running Mr. Dantarno down and apprehending him. I will be in constant contact with the Interdiction Pickets so that they will be ready to recieve our catch.

Ok for one as far as i knew you never closed your boarders. Even under the Emperor the Empire didnt close its borders. Bespin is a tourest planet. many large casinos and hotels opperate there. you only granting use of those to SOvereign citizens now? if i would have known i would not have told him to start an rp there. and most important I had this guy listneing to reason and was going to help him do some back gruond rps to get him set up and have it where we actually knew of him in the first place. Now its back to square one.

I asked Khendon to put me in with the Spectre. It isn't fast at sublight speeds, but has a powerful hyperdrive system.

Adamar is ok. I just chose bespin because i wanted Raymond Mosses to become aware of his exsistance. Which I'll just change things a bit. Im helping him with his designs now and he seems to be listening well. Who know thogh he still is a bit eger.

The spectre is faster than your ship in hyperspace, but not as fast sublight. I drop out of hyperspace a little before the other contestants and start running through whatever obstacle there is(IF that is how Khendon is going to plan this) and deploy my recon satilites. When you drop out I'll relay any information gathered to you,so you'll be more prepared for the course.
