The gentle hum of electronics filled the crisp, silent atmosphere of the room. Underneath the placid environment chaos ensued. Thousands of terabytes worth of information smoothly flowed from station to station, computer to computer. The network usage was at base levels only, if the situation were dire, up to 40% of the capability of the amazing laser backbone of the craft would be used.

Through the invisible lines that projected vital statistics, sensor readings, and weapons capabilities Khendon’s mind roamed. He calmly and precisely sorted through command data, analyzing combat information in real time. The Imperator stood on the bridge of one of the most sophisticated vessels in the Federacy’s arsenal. The large ship was simply known as the Persecutor. She was the first of her kind, the first DreadLord pocket battleship to be produced by Omerose Yards.

The former Vice Diktat wetted his lips as his silver eyes scrutinized the large displays that fed visual information into the room. Normally a man of Khendon’s importance wouldn’t be commanding such a craft; rather, he would be at the helm of the entire Federacy government. However, this occasion was special, it was the first use of the mighty warship in ensuring the Federacy’s isolationist policy.

A blue ribbon opened in space as a ship emerged from hyperspace. Unscheduled, noted Khendon with a slight shake of his head. He ordered the preparation of weapons systems with his neural interface and opened a communication frequency, “This is restricted Federal space. You have five seconds to comply, disengage your engines, lower your shields, and prepare to be boarded.”

The ship that had just exited hyper space was nothing more than a YV-666 freighter which compaired to the awsome technology and sheer scale of the Federacy ship simply looked like a bothersome insect in the fireing lines, waiting to be squashed.

The frieghter glided swan like and silent for a few moments more into Federancy space when all of a sudden the engines ceased, the weapons systems were taken offline and the ship came to a gradual stop. But there was no reply to the Federacy comminication.

The ship simply sat there, silent and seeminly errie as if somehow in hyper space the crew aboard were slain and the ships electronics were broken making it come speeding out of hyperspace and to a hault.

Inside however this were quite different, and whomever piloted the vessel would let Khendon make the first move.

Fighters screeched forth from the belly of the immense battleship. Jagged, demonic looking ships sprinted forward, blue engine washes leaving particle streaks in space. The nimble predators circled the unannounced guest, sensors probing, weapons aligning.

Enormous, powerful muscles traversed the forward turrets of the DreadLord and brought its destructive payload to bear. The massive vessel moved forward steadily like a dark, expanding shadow. It eclipsed the new arrival and exposed its single, gargantuan docking bay.

“Captain,” said Khendon in a strong, commanding voice, “have a squad of mobile infantry meet the ship.”

“Aye, Sir!” said a sturdy looking man as he pounded his chest in salute. The officer turned on his heel and marched off the bridge.

“Initiate tractor beams, bring her in.”

The ship shuddered violently for a few moments as the tractor beam shot into place and clasped its iron grip around the YV-666. The Federacy ship had loomed horribly over the freighter showing its immense power mearly in the grandure of itself and it had to be said the pilot of the small freighter was rather impressed, clearly he had made the right choice.

Another jolt as the ship was then being pulled into the bay. The windows aboard the YV-666 had shutters and these were down so that Federacy members would have to board the vessel by force to know exsactly what the ship was hiding within.

The tractor finaly pulled the ship within its hold and the YV-666 settled peacefully within the capital ship, steam rising from its engines for some odd reason, perhaps a malfunction

The troopers would have to gain accsess to the ship, a little fun was in order.

The hangar was a bustling center of activity. All around people were running scans, repairing fighters, calibrating this, programming that. The enormous cavern within the ship was filled to maximum capacity with racks and systems.

From the far side of the room entered twelve black clad men. Their matte armor was embellished with the Federacy’s brand and the mobile infantry’s emblem. They marched towards the craft, red, digital eyes scrutinizing the hulk of a vessel.

Without words they broke into fire squads and took up different sections of the craft. Captain Xyfeso took two soldiers with him and approached the belly of the ship. “Scanning,” he said in his rough voice.

“Sir,” said one of the troopers, “activate spectrum pattern 423 Alpha.”

With a thought the Captain adjusted and watched as filters were applied to the feed from his suit’s main optical sensor. At first the ship’s hull was a cool blue, it then changed to a hue of green and finally settled a bright red. Within the hull shapes formed, different objects viewed with different sensors.

“Life form,” remarked the Captain, “breach and clear. Trio V, secure that man. He’s located in the fore cockpit.” The officer shook his head; the man clearly had his feet up and was relaxing.

Around the ship troopers went up to the hull and placed fat, modified barrels to the metal. Sparks erupted and flames ignited as concentrated energy ripped open entry points. The superheated barrels were then ejected automatically and the mobile infantrymen penetrated the vessel.

“We’re in, Sir.”

Whatever they were doing outside was causing some sort of steam or mist within the ship, clearly reacting with the breaching procedure these troops were performing. The man inside could feel the activity outside, Khendon had pushed the boat out on this one, the hanger was alive.

BANG

The hull was breached and in a matter of moments surely the Federacy troops would storm the ship in unison to arrest whoever was inside. Predictively enough the sounds of troops jogging the interior of the ship shuddered through the vibrations of the durasteel, the interior was cloudy but with the opening of the ship now the mist was slowly being sucked out.

Dramatically and to order the troops made their way efficiently towards the cockpit and finally they made it. The smoke smogged the interior but where the cockpit was it was almost completely free of smoke and as the first trooper entered the cockpit of the ship a white hair man sat there, legs upon the counter and controls sipping from a mug, a smile fixed upon his face.

The trooper seemed oddly confused.

' About time you showed up, Its bloody hot in here'

The trooper looked confused, though his demonic looking armor betrayed not even the slightest hint of emotion. His muscles tensed, he raised his blaster rifle. An external speaker boomed, “you have ten seconds to comply, hands in the air, prepare to be restrained.”

Two other soldiers circled the man, weapons trained on his torso. “Sir,” said one of the men through a closed comm., “single non-alien in custody.”

“Good work, I’ll be right there,” replied the gruff officer. In moments he jogged into the cockpit, his filters adjusting now that the thick cloud of fumes was no longer blocking his usual optical array of sensors.

Sieken would comply, there was no reason to cause a scene and in anycase he was here on a diplomatic reason, not to fight. Putting his legs down on the floor and placing the mug of hot liquid upon the counter he stood up, placed his hands behind his head nad smiled gently, a grim smile, one that was little more than sarcasem.

'Im here in peace, not to halm' Peace, peace? what the hell was he saying? He was a Sith Lord not a sodding Jedi and he was discussin peace? ' And you might wish to search the hold of this ship, her crew are there...dead of course.' he smiled again and allowed the troopers to restrain him.

One of the troopers hooked his leg around the man’s and brought him to his knees. He then maneuvered his own knee into the small of the man’s back, pulling his arms in the opposite direction at the same time. The mobile infantryman snapped on restraints and connected a thin, high tensile durasteel cable to the cuffs. He finally snapped the cable into place on his armor.

“Alright,” said the Captain with his external speaker, “get him out of here.”

“On your feet,” said the dark voice of the trooper behind the man.

Being in custody, thankfully, was something Sieken could deal with easily. The Sith Lord had been trapped within the attic of Vega Van-Dervleds estate for more or less half a year before finding a lucky escape route through Vegas own daughter.

And to think he and Vega were not Master and Apprentice once more, their bond as master and Apprentice clearly unbreakible, or Sieken was gullible.

Imperial arrest was nothing how Vega was like, this was luxury compaired to that and so as he was pushed roughly from the ships carcuss he had the biggest grin upon his face he could possibly make and it made him smile more that it seemed half the ships crew were gathered around to watch, what grandure.

' Evenin' ' he said to the on lookers who seemed apsaloutly perplexed at the very notion.

The hallway was like any other Federal warship’s corridor. Scents of fresh electronics and sweat wafted from all around the detainment level. Sturdy durasteel doors dotted the walls here and there. Droids floated on invisible courses and surveyed the area.

Something about the prisoner nagged at the back of the Captain’s mind. He wasn’t like the other scum they had pulled from the wretched expanses of boarder the Federacy held. He was too sharp, too perceptive, too clean. Unlike every other begging, filthy, illegal immigrant that had been plucked from the dark sea of space he was…

The Captain’s eyes went wide in shock as he finally worked through what was bothering him, He’s not afraid! The Officer shot a sharp glance at the man and cursed under his breath. “Squad, halt!” he said over the closed communication system.

Xyfeso clenched the grip of his blaster rifle and leveled it. He couldn’t chance that the man was a jedi or some other foul traitorous lot. The Captain quickly and adeptly switched his weapon to stun and fired off a rapid burst, “Take him down, boys!”

Sieken braced himself but before he knew what was going on, the stun bolts had hit him fast and the Sith lord was taken down, wheather it was volunetery or not, would never be known.

Sieken knew nothing then, darkness smacked him in the face like a 100 tonn bantha and he was at the mercy of the Imperial gaurds.

OOC: sorry its short, all i could come up with.

The body hit the floor with a thud that resonated down the silent corridor. The soft lights bounced off the motionless figure and cast unusual hues on the pale man’s contorted shape. “He’s going to have a headache,” said the Captain as he walked up and fired a final blast into the man’s back. “Hmph,” grunted Xyfeso, “shoulda’ sent the marines in, this is grunt work. Drag ‘em and box ‘em, boys.”

An officer knelt down and searched the body, removing his belongings and placing them in a satchel. Two of the armor-clad soldiers walked up to the still man and grabbed his ankles. With little effort they brought the man to a cell and threw him inside. “Let’s report in,” said Xyfeso as he turned on his heel. The elite troopers followed their captain out of the detention block and towards the lifts leading to the bridge.

The room was small by anyone’s standards. It was formed from reinforced, honeycombed carbon fiber designed to withstand excessive strength. The only entrance projected an energy field centimeters away from its metallic skin. A small, unseen camera watched the figure of the man propped up against the wall. On the other end of the cable sat a soldier idly watching screen after screen of short term “detainees.”
