Okay, I was doing my project work in Visual Basic, until I slipped when dragging a window, as you can see below. I can't see ot's top bar so can't move it, and it keeps reappearing there. Can anyone tell me how to pull it down?

I wasn't able to drag the form window high enough so that I couldn't retrieve it. The best advice I can give you is to set your screen resolution as low as it will go, and try snagging a pixel.

Actually, your best bet is upping the resolution briefly.

It doesn't, every time I open VB and double click on the form it appears up there. Stupid program :mad

Did you try removing the tool bar that appears at the top of the window? Something like this happens to me when I use PS sometimes. Usually minimizing the window (so it's not fullscreen, but you can still see in it) helps too.

VB decided to have a great function it seems, where removing the toolbars moves EVERYTHING up.

Luckily, I can manage by maximising it within the screen. It's just awkward as heck when you need to keep switching.

Did you already try staring at the ceilling while muttering, "if this doesn't start working right I'm going to smash the monitor" yet?

And did you leave the room for a few seconds, and then come back in to see if it had fixed itself while you were gone?

Hmm...

If you're using VB6 my method should be working, unless you actually removed the bar, is that what happened?

Otherwise,
in the explorer, right click on the form and hit remove. Then right click again and add the form in again using the dialogue that appears.

Stupid program

Finally, a comment I can agree with Fett.

Not a problem, all us VB users (by choice or otherwise) have to stick together.

Tis true. I'm finding my program which I really need to finish in the next two days a real struggle, but people can be so helpful giving advice :)
