It seems wierd that UK sales have dropped and dropped, then SUDDENLY had a 10% rise. I wouldn't say that's anything to do with downloading, but I doubt it can have been harmed by it.

And that is what every single study shows.

DLing music doesn't do the dammage..

It's the lawsuits against Old people and little Kids that are way out of the age group the music industry is aiming for.

Of course downloading doesnt affect sales. That's been known for a while now, it the fact that CD's and music in general are too high priced, and full of Britney clones and appalling so called R&B going on about bling bling and carnal knowledge.

People will buy music... if its worth listening to.

Oh, if you get a chance, have a listen to Pete Murray if you like soemthing mellow.

Lower the prices, and you'll get my sales.

I'm more than willing to shell out $10 for a cd and $15-$17 for a good dvd with extras. Not this lousey $20+ for a single DVD! Inflation my bum. They're only aspiration is for profit, as with any big business or company.

What I don't get is why old CD's....like those which have been out for 10 years now still cost well over $20. That's just dumb.
