To summarize, the thread is a discussion about whether or not planets which are so far removed from the owner faction's capitol should stay under their control, or if they should be released back into the pool of planets which are unconquered.

If planets are removed from a group, they will be reassigned others, closer to their core planets. Groups might get to keep strategic key planets too... ones that are important for... strategic reasons.
