This thread http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34816 brought a thought to me.

It always seems that whenever we have a "who owns what planet" we here always seem to forget the lil ones we do have.

So I'm calling this here thread to ask all you peeps if you can aid in naming the planets TSO does have. I'll start the list:

The entire Corellian system (http://www.nav-computer.com/corelliansys.html)
Corellia
Drall
Talus / Tralus
Centerpoint Station (long since disabled)
Selonia
Crollia (RPing)
Soronia (RPing)
Dathomir
Korriban
Xyquine
Dennaskar
New Cov
Kashyyyk
Chad
Chad III
Honoghr
Nar Shaddaa
Nal Hutta

I don't know about what planets you control. I do how ever want to apologize for that thread I didn't not intend it to go the way it did.

It doesn't appear that we do have Selonia, from (extensive) research that has been done into the matter. See this thread:

http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=34816#post642358

As for other planets, I haven't got a clue.

Damon - stop apologizing. It's not your fault. I brought up playing the Selonian Senator because I have an interest in the planet, and merely used your thread as a vehicle to ask for permission. Not your fault at all.

I think we have Honoghr.

It doesn't appear that we do have Selonia...

I'm sorry, but i'm gonna have to go with the list from here http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12072&highlight=selonia as it was posted way before this thread http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31316&highlight=selonia was started.

It would seem suddenly unfair to TSO to go back on what was already established.

Also, I'm a bit wary how LD said

It is being figured out and dealt with, but thank you.

in this thread http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34816&perpage=20&pagenumber=2 (post 32) and I haven't heard anything. You'd think TSO would be involved in such talks. I just get the sinking feeling we're gonna get shafted.

(It wouldn't be the first time this girl has caused me heartache |I)

Did you check out all of those links, LV? There was no TSO claim made on Selonia - it just suddenly appeared on the planet list. To me, it seems unfair that TSO should have the planet just because its in the Corellian system.

PS, I'm part of the talks.

PS, I'm part of the talks

No invitation to me (one of the longer standing members here) tells me my voice counts as crap. :\

Well, it would also be somewhat unfair for the NR to just up and say, hey if it's not taken we'll take it.

I was ALWAYS under the impression from the very start that TSO had all of the Corellian sector. No one had ever said otherwise to me.

If Selonia is going to come under "who does it belong to?" I say we fight for it then. I am one of those ppl that DESPISE fleet/planetary take-over RPs, but if it's the only way, then I will be the one at the front lines.

I thought it was the Corellian SYSTEM that we had. (That being Corellia, Drall, Talus, Tralus, Centerpoint Station, and Selonia... I've never seen any referance or heard of Crollia and Soronia before)

The talks are going on between the Swfans staff, so I wasn't given an invite or anything - it's just because I'm the Gaming Forum mod that I'm there.

I can see how you'd think it would be unfair for the NR to just claim it, but in some respects I think the same of TSO taking it - just because it's in the same system. As was shown by those threads, TSO never took the planet over. It was jsut assumed they had it because they had the majority of the Corellia sector. If that's the justification behind keeping the planet, other groups could step forward and lay claims on planets, just because the NR doesn't have them, and because they're in the same system as their core planet.

ANYWAY. This is being discused in the talks, so I'll just step back from that arguement now. I don't want to repeat myself.

I think it would be interesting for the NR to have it, or for it to remain independent. Already this is stirring up RPs for us to do - which is what we need. I think in the long run it could provide interesting stuff for us to do. And you have to remember, this isn't the old days of suprise OOC cloak/dagger/backstabbing. Everything is planned in the open, so you'd know if something was going down; everything would be planned.

Alright fine.

I do like the idea of it being independant. Something along the lines of it not wanting to eb a part of any group. And knowing Selonians and how they've reacted in the books they have been written into, this would fit very well with their character.

And you're right that it would open new RPs for ppl to do, and those here at TSO as well.

As to Crollia and Soronia, they're baren rocks and aren't suitable for colonization. I figured they were just floating satelites in the outter areas of the Corellian system utilized for look-out stations and/or penal mine colonies.

EDIT: I actually only just learned about Crollia and Soronia last night while seraching through various sites on the Corellian system. I'm actually going to start a RP to build stations on it and the like.

:hug Sorry if this is causing a headache for you.

Check the group mods forum, Rie. LD brought up an interesting idea which I think might interest you.

OFFICIAL VERDICT ON SELONIA from the talks:

It will remain independant. If the NR wish to take it, they must send a diplomatic mission to the planet. Likewise, if TSO wish to take it, they must do a takeover thread.

Would the diplomatic Mission from TSO be something that I would be sent on?

The early bird... http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34884

Yes, Rasha, you can certainly be involved. You can show the selonians we're not monseters and that actually the economy on the other planets is very much up and alive.

I also think Warlock should be involved as he's our official envoy.

Also... http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34882

I'm putting the ball a-rollin in getting those stations built. Your help would be appreciated, Warlock, if you have the time.

Okay! I'll be there shortly... it may do us some good to have a non force using member of Corellia there.

We also are going to need to work on Drall as it seems ppl just want to keep taking planets away from us. I feel like this group is always picked on! |I

I miss the old days.

This be a verreh good map that Figs posted up: http://www.nav-computer.com/galaxymap.html

I'm doing a quicky piccy with highlights to show where our planets are. So far, they're all within reasonable distance of each other (reasonable as planet distances go), and don't show to be clear on the other side of the known galaxy.

I found this accidently while doing a serach for Dennasker:

http://sw-fans.net/forum/archive/topic/10569-1.html

Usefulness! :)

Of course, it needs some updating, but at least we got the bulk of it.

(Just for the records: http://sw-fans.net/forum/archive/topic/17236-1.html Dennasker has a construction yard stationed in it's orbit.)
