“Tyrant” Hyperspace Missile

Engines: Varies (Mustang, Quasar, Dreamweaver, whatever is lying around)
Hyperdrive: Varies (beta class, alpha class, aero, whatever is lying around)

Warhead: Up for debate (old? New?)

What it does:
It’s basically a tactical missile that can come out of hyperspace next to an enemy vessel and damage it severely. The main goal is for taking out targets prior to jumping into a system or for surprise attacks.

Stipulations:
Must be cheap, effective, unable to be interdicted (that’s taken care of), and powerful enough. I’d suggest planetary launching or space silos.

Ideas, comments?

This sounds like a really good idea. It would be a first strike devestation weapon. Launch them in waves and we could severly cripple whole fleets than bring in our ships and mop up. It's a good siege weapons.

New Federacy Systems Proposal:

Length: 23 Meters
Diameter: 4 meters
Engine: 1 Dreamweaver
Generator: 2 Mini-Quantum/Gravitic Reactors
Hyperdrive: Aero Class
Armor: Reinforced Matrix ECM
Pilot: NFS X5 Automated guidance System
Sensors: Spectrometer Scanner System
WarHead: Ionic

This missile is designed to cheap, yet very effective. Almost all of the components are taken from stockpiles. Most of the forward sections have been reinforced to penetrate most shields and all armors. Just before impact the computer makes the reactors go critical and upon impact they explode with tremandous force. when this happens, a large Ionic Warhead also explodes, spreading out ions that would disable all systems still functioning onboard the ship hit.

Graviton Hyperspace Missile
Designers: Maverick Labs, New Federacy Systems
Engines: Mustang/Quasar/Dreamweaver
Hyperdrives: Beta(B)/Alpha(A)
Sensors/Communication: Flash Relay
Munitions: Graviton Warhead
Special: Multi-interface structure, hyperdrive housing, engine housing, A.L.F. anti-shield technology

Technology Explained

Multi-interface Structure
The MIS calls for generic "container" pieces that are designed to house a variety of hyperdrives and engines. The engine housing has built in vectoring veins that can be utilized by any engine on the list of acceptable engines for the GH Missile.

The hyperspace pod is removable, and does so as soon as the weapon exits hyperspace. A metabolizing self destruct causes the atoms of the hyperdrive and its container to break down leaving no trace.

Flash Relay
The FR can sort through and recieve thousand of messages a second, allowing it to instantly recieve its targeting orders once out of hyperspace.

The sensor portion instantly takes a picture of the battle scene and decompiles it so that it can properly locate its new target or original target.

Graviton Warhead
A collection of cubatoms that are extremely destructive and unstable and kept in a ball with energy barriers. The unstable ball is surrounded by a wall of loose, stable cubatoms. Once the warhead is activated, the loose, stable cubatoms are condensed using a gravity generator until they begin compressing the destructive, unstable cubatoms. When this occurs, the destructive cubatoms destroy the bonds of the now dense, very strongly bonded, stable cubatoms causing a massive release of energy. This energy is harnessed into the explosion, which is substantially larger than any recorded warhead's detonation.
