I hadn't heard about it. Could be good - although I don't particularly like Tom Cruise all that much. It is a good story, though, and I think Spielberg can do a good job with it.

Awesome. I love the original and the audio in particular, it's what got me into science fiction when I was about seven or eight years old. So I'm reeeaaally looking forward to this.

I will likely be a "modern" interpretation, just as the radio play was and the first film based upon the story. I don't mind that at all... I just hope that they stick to certain things laid out in Wells' book closely. It's a fantastic story, and since I did it thesis on Wells' work several years ago, I'd be happy if they got certain details correct. :)

I know it is a great book I just hope they don't butcher the movie like they did the Time Machine.

I listened to the original radio version last year. It was something quite amazing.
