Rasha having been summond by TSO, arrives in the Waiting Room for the visitors. Her father was one of the leading political leaders of Corellia, before the Sith showed up. For some reason her father was not killed, like most of the political leaders were, allowing him to pass his knowledge to his only child, Rasha.

Rasha was born after the Sith arrived, and has lived her whole life with the Sith in charge. She wouldn't have it any other way. The Sith kept their people living in fear, Keeping them out of trouble.

Over the past years she has gotten herself in to the planetary politics, and has proven herself to be as good at it as her long dead father. She has worked her ways through the ranks and has gotten herself to being Mayor of Cornet, running the day-to-day Opperations that the sith have no time for.

Rasha wonders why the sith have called her here. She hopes that she has done nothing wrong. But she waits, showing no sign of her worries.

A long time is spent in silence and alone for Rasha, before finally another person enters the waiting room. The person, an attendant, motions for her to follow and leads her to a conference chamber where a man in a deep-blue cloak waits, sitting at the head of an oval table. “Greetings, Madame Vill. Please, sit,” the old man says, motioning to the free seats around the table, while pouring out two glasses of water.

Rasha follows the attendant into the conference chamber. She looks around the room, wondering if the was one of the political Chambers that her father was so fond of in his time on the Political Council. She turns to the man at the end of the table as he greets her. Giving a gracefull bow, she returns the greeting...

"Greeting Master Sith. It is a great honor to be invited to your home. I hope that my service as Mayor has not displeased you."

Rasha takes a seat at the table. Hoping that she did not offend the sith by not using his name, even though she could not use it, since she did not know it.

“Not at all, Madame Vill. Before we continue on to business, I do not believe we have been formally introduced. I am Tobias Mortiarty, Elder of the Sith Order, though to most I am known by the name Warlock. You may use whichever you find more comfortable. You are a most welcome guest here, as you have done admirable work in the name of the Order since your election. I hope you are happy with your current position,” he said, as though expecting an expanded answer to the half-question, before sipping from his glass of water.

Rasha was releaved that she was not here for punishment. She had heard many things of what the Sith use as punishment and she wanted nothing to with experancing it first hand.

"I am thrilled that you are pleased with my work, Master Warlock. I simply do my best to serve the Order and it's people."

Rasha looks at the glass of water placed for her, then back at Warlock. She thinks to herself....

Should I trust his word that I am here an honored guest, and take the water? It could be poisoned. Then again I wight insult him if I don't take it. I'll wait a moment or so.

"I admit that my job is making me overworked. Though the pay is unreasonablely low for the work load, I still take it in stride, and know that in the end my work will pay off, allowing Corellia to be the galaxy's central hub of the galatic economy and trade, like it was so close to becoming in my fathers time. If I can live to see Corellia restored to it's former glory, and know that I had a hand in restoring it, then my long days of hard work will be payed in full, without any further finacal gain."

“Madame Vill, I am sure we can come to some arrangement over your current salary, however we shall leave that to business, to later,” the Sith said, with a thin, wry smile. “How is Corellia of late? What is the climate like… socially, cultural, meteorologically…”

Rasha Vill

"Socially the people are afraid for their lives, for they know that if they speek porely of the Sith, danger will be upon them. They find you rate of taxation too high, and minimum wage too low, though I think this is more to the fact that people are greedy and thus always want more than what is offered.

Culturaly We are still strong. In hard times people need something to grab hold to, so they have been grabing hold of our past and the culture there of. As a result of this grab for past glory enrolment into CoreSec is at an all time high. We have also had reports of large amounts of smugler activity, as well as many requests for civilan starships that contain smugling compartments, sensor shielding, and over-powered weapons. which I also beleave to be part of this reach for our past.

Economy wise, We are starving. Imports and Exports are at an all time low and are still dropping. We are making more money from demanding our share of all profit from illegal transactions, than we are from legal trade. The toursist refuse to come in the numbers that they use to. There is still High demand for Good Corellian booze, though as dictated in the Sith's trade regualtions, the higest quality of all products produced on planet are to be sent to the Sith Palace, and then to the upper class buracrats, before any can be sold, Preventing us from making even a dent in the demand for our products off planet.

Meteorologically seems to be the only way we have not changed. the weather is as nice as it always has been, thought people still tend to gripe about it."

“People believe that speaking of the Sith will put them in danger?” Warlock frowned, “That should not be the case, Madame Vill, wouldn’t’ you agree? We are here to govern the planet, not tyrannize it. A happy medium is all we ask – we will watch over them, so long as they maintain the planets economy… that it does not appear they are doing.”

He sat forward somewhat, “You must make some policy changes. I see no reason for the Palace to be saturated with Ale. Lower the prices and make the cities priority location for its delivery. Perhaps raising the age required for conscription into CoreSec would motivate the citizens to work in other areas, to promote a better image of a less militaristic planet?”

"The people still speek of the Sith, but do not wish to criticise them. The sith have a reputation that does not sit well with many people. I have hear rumors of people planning revolt, attempting to take the Sith out of power. But there are too few that are will to get themselves killed for this cause. Aside from the small few that wish to revolt, the rest hold their toungs, for they do not wish to risk brining the sith's wrath down apon them.

It would be nice if people would speek up about the problems with the government, though I thing that the real problem is that the town are too limited in what they are aloud to change, and I must say, at the risk of offending the Sith, The Sith do not pay attention to the politics of the planet enough to see the problems.

Most of the problems mentioned could be delt with easer if there was somebody in your order that would pay attention to the cities aside from using them as their play pen.

Truthfuly the people have the right to fear for their lives. Only the other day did one of your Members and a young girl came to Coronet, and raised a bloody heck! On the train they Killed the chief assistant to the Mayor of Westport who was bringing me some rather important documents regarding trade routes between the cities. Then they killed two children in a restraunt by squishing their brains. And finaly they closed down local comunications by setting fire to a desk inside the main hub, and almost killing one of our clerks, causing the fire inspectors to shut it down for the rest of the day!"

Rasha smiles and nods taking a few deep breaths calming herself from her rant...

"Thank you for allowing me to make these changes. I have been working with documents and laws that have not been reviewed since the sith first took over. Many of them starve the people for the comfort of the Palace. I hope you will forgive me for my rant, but sometimes it seems that for all the work I do, I can not make head way, due to the laws and regulations put in place by your Order when I was but a child."

“This Order is not what it once was, that is certain. I would like to think we have evolved into a less bloodthirsty brood. That alone plays a major part in my calling you here, Mayor, so that we might rehash some of the laws that are in place over Corellia which have long since been out of date. I’m sure we can meet in the middle on many matters… these killings, for instance. I will personally brief the members of the Order on this. Corellia is not a culling ground for them to practice their talents upon… they have Coruscant for that.”

There was humor in his voice on his last words.

“I expect that with some changes, those who you speak of who are inclined to rebel will be less likely to do so. Brutality can spawn only more brutality, I understand this. It would be senseless of us to press them beneath our boot, so to speak. If we are to appear a comprising society, we must make allowances.”

Mar 18th, 2004, 03:07:35 PM
"I fully agree with you. The people must come first, for without them we run nothing more than a barren rock. I am glad to see that you are willing to make changes. Hopefuly these changes will allow the people of Corellia to have a better life, and assist me in bringing Corellia, or at least Coronet, back to it's former glory.

Though I fear the no matter how many changes are made the people will still live in fear. As long as the Sith place themselves above the laws that they create, people will fear. If they had a leader with no negitive reputation, a leader that would focus their attention on corellia, or even the system if you so chose to let them, A leader that was willing to work with the Sith, rather than to lick their boots, A person that is willing to risk their life to bring their concerns to the Sith, only this kind of person would be able quell the people's fears.

I meen no offence, but I fear that the Order will kill Corellia and it's system with the fear that it's reputation brings. People here are not the only ones that fear you. Many of the planets that we use to trade with stoped becauses of this fear.

I know that you were only speeking of a few changes to the laws of Corellia but I beleave that the system in place need more like a complete overhaul."

Warlock listened tentatively, nodding in agreement with Rasha’s points.

“Are you not this leader, Mayor? Do the people not respect and trust you?”

Mar 19th, 2004, 04:04:16 PM
This abrupt turn of events caught Rasha off guard. She was expecting to have been told that she was out of line, but this was not what she was leading to. After a few moments thinking on what she had just said, she replys...

"Well, Ummm, yes I would meet the specifaction that I mentioned, But I doubt that the people will except me as there leader. Past history has always had the people except there leader if they were male. I fought long and hard to even get to where I am, and even now I still get people mistaking me as an assistant to the mayor.

The people Respect me because I get the job done better than the other mayors on planet, but my co-workers, the other local diplomats look down on me as if I was nothing more than a peace of trash. Outside of Coronet I am simply know as Mayor R.C.Vill I don't know how the people would respond If they found out I am a woman. I know that nost of the officals on planet would flip their lid if I took charge. Not only because I'm a woman, but also I have only been in the political field for 5 years, And I'm still the youngest Mayor in the history of this planet!

I would not turn down the chalenge if you are truly offering me this position. But in truth I am shocked that I would even be considered for it."

“You say the people want change. It seems hypocritical for them to cling to their old ways concerning their leaders, then. If they want change, they will experience it in all areas of their lives, not simply those that they perceive to be most beneficial.”

Rasha Vill
Mar 20th, 2004, 12:42:27 PM
"I guess you do have a good point. If we are going to overhaul the system, we might as well take it to the extreem. You do understand that a number of people will be ageinst the youngest player in the game, to take the lead. But let me make sure I'm understanding you correctly, you want me to become the leader of Corellia, Just the planet, or are we talking about the whole system here."

Warlock

“You will be the figurehead for the people of Corellia. You will be able to make changes to the way the planet is run, but not without consulting with the Sith Elders - and in return, you will afford us certain aide in political matters concerning the Senate. The Sith have had this planet as their stronghold for too long now to simply pass the reigns to another. I intend to make Corellia a more liberal and widely respected planet, Vill, but on my own terms. Am I understood?”

Rasha Vill
Mar 21st, 2004, 10:30:47 AM
"so I would be in charge, but I would need to ask you if I wanted to do anything major? But I'm guessing for what all other could see is that you have steped back and let me take over?"

Rasha accualy take a sip of the water that Worlock poured for her when she entered the room.

"What would be this certain aide in political matters concerning the Senate be?"

Warlock
Mar 21st, 2004, 11:07:52 AM
“You would need to clear all changes with the Sith Elders, but yes, to the public it would appear that you were in fact in full control of the planet,” Warlock explained.

“As for political aide… this may not be employed until some time in the distant future, however once the outside world is of the belief that Corellia has become far less brutal than it once was, the Senate may accept a representative – a senator or otherwise – from the system. It would be your duty to choose this representative… once again, with the counsel of the Sith Elders.”

Rasha Vill
Mar 22nd, 2004, 10:54:12 AM
Rasha smiles and nods. She thinks that she is getting the idea of what is going on...

"So you want a set of eyes inside the senate? I don't think that would be too hard to do. I will except you preposal, Though would like it if I could have a few weeks off planet before I get started on the changes, if that would be alright. My father always spoke well of the planet Coruscant. I was hoping to visit there some time. Since while the Aides are filling out the moutain of paperwork that would go with a change of leadership, there will not be much for me to do here. I was hoping I could use that time to see Coruscant, the that would be aloud."

Warlock
Mar 22nd, 2004, 11:09:57 AM
“I see no problem in that. You may have one of our transport vessels to travel, and an escort who must remain with you at all times, who you will introduce as your secretary and personal assistant,” Warlock replied, then continuing, “You will forgive me paranoia, but it is an innate trait of we Sith,” he said, with a wry smile.

Rasha Vill
Mar 23rd, 2004, 10:36:24 AM
"That is quite alright. What should I do if the diplomats on Coruscant find out I'm there, and wish to speek with me?"

Warlock
Mar 23rd, 2004, 10:42:47 AM
“Entertain and indulge their questions. You are a diplomat yourself, Rasha. It is your job to liaise.”

Rasha Vill
Mar 23rd, 2004, 11:00:37 AM
"Very well. *Nods and stands* Will there be anything else you wish to tell me before I leave?"

Warlock
Mar 24th, 2004, 08:09:00 AM
“No, Madame Vill, you are free to go. Enjoy your time in the hub.”

With that, Warlock rose to his feet, and motioned that they should depart.

Rasha Vill
Mar 26th, 2004, 12:52:27 PM
"Thank you sir."

Rasha bows respectfuly and walks out of the room.
