My DVD/CDROM drive wont read CD's. I've tried everything I could think of. Basically the problem is, i have 2 CD drives, and the top one wont work but the bottom does. Whenever I put in a CD and try to run the program, it says "Please insert a disk into Drive E:". Under My Computer, the icon for the CD drive stays the same and doesnt change to the program's icon. So I figure that the computer isnt reading the drive and theres some sort of communication problem, but when I tell the computer to eject the cd by right clicking on the icon, it ejects. I'm stumped. O_o

It sounds like you have a problem with one of your CD-Roms.

Try disconnecting one and seeing if you can run a CD on the connected one.

Also, what operating system are you using?
