This Advanced communications device was developed by the Chiss As a replacement for the standard Imperial Maser Transmitter.
Transmission using Laser-wave, Radio Frequency, Optical, and Subspace this Transceiver is very difficult to Jam. Ultra High radio waves work as the standard transmission mode. As the transmission is jammed The Unit switched to the Maser mode and transmits as a standard Imperial Maser Transmitter.
Optical Transmission is based on the Chiss Optr-486 Optical lens. The light wave can be fired in a short burst in a 360 Degree arch. This allows for Orders to be sent to every ship or fighter in the engagement area equipped with the Optr-486 and receiving / decoding equipment. The Lash research Omni-eye is just such a unit. It can receive and decode incoming Optical Burst transmissions.
Standard subspace receiver has been reworked and improved to provide a 20 % efficiency increase over standard Imperial Designs.
