As the withering hand of time decays at the hull of the older yet versatile Escort Carriers used by the Imperials Chiss scientists have Developed the Next generation of Carrier vessels. Given a need for building materials and supples to aid in the construction of the CEDF the Chiss will be offering the SOV. an Export design of this vessel. Using Design and construction methods developed during the creation of the Chiss Corsicar Escort Carrier The Export Carrier or Crossfire Carrier will offer the Sovereignty a far more technologically built vessel. With defense systems unlike any the Sovereignty currently offers this vessel is made for the mission of Carrier solely. With light hull and armor and massive shileding the Crossfire can exit hyperspace unload its payload of fighters and retreat to a safe distance where it can co-ordinate the battle via its Chiss engineered Communications and sensor package. This vessel will be manufactured on Bespin by the Lash Research and Designs Team currently working in the Tabanoppolis Research Facility.
