Anyone seen the previews for this movie?

Personally it's a first for me. I'm an avid comic book fan, and I know of Hellboy, though I've never actually read any of the books.

The previews for the movie looked awesome though, anyone ever read any of the books ?

I got the inside on this flick at the ECCC (Emerald City ComiCon) from the Dark Horse guys, and it looks totally awesome.

It's going to be a good, solid action movie with a little less comedy than MIB had, but it should still be highly entertaining. A must-see.

I saw the trailers last night and it looks like a blast. I don't know if I'll see it in the theatre though.

If anyone wants to read up on Hellboy, just search for comics online. They have a TON of them that you can read for free... literally like 20-30 that I've found.

Not so lucky, it seems.

They overproduced the sneak preview passes, and "sold out" of the "free" sneak preview. :\

What rotten luck.

Oh well, I got to play more Gladius, so I guess its not all bad.

so I hear the bad guy is Rasputin, I find that cool, since in reality he was a bad man, and people had hard time killing him.

Saw it tonight. Thought it was pretty good. Though I thought Abe was sort of wasted and Myers was just annoying. I thought there was quite a lack of character development, but maybe that's because they have sequels planned. I hope they do.

I guess you're right. Though this one didn't finish as open ended as other comic based movies.
