My Java plug-in for Firefox has...disappeared. o.O

It has unexplainedly removed itself from the plug-ins folder. Why would it do this?

Doesn't seem to be. The Episode 3 countdown here and the Omega Room at Meras have turned into "Get the plugin!" links. I'm pretty sure the plugin (or at least the means to get it) still exist on my computer SOMEWHERE...I'm not quite sure where though.

When I first got firefox, and switched over the optimized version it would work, so i just switched back over to regular rather than fooling with it. Not to say you should do that though.

I never got Firefox, something about it I didnt like, dont remember what though. I'm running Firebird and Java never seemed to want to install for me.
