"Pfft! I was atleast three times my wieght now and four times my size wide...anyways Hutts and Jedi ehh? As I said it really isn't that much but consider this, Jedi like to keep to the back and are not front line politicians or soldiers. We also keep fighting as a last resort. The same is said about Hutts they prefer other business and fake organizations to putting themselves in the spot light and prefer to stay out of fight because it could potentially ruin their profits."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn nodded.

"Agreeable. But they also stay out of fights because for the most part they are cowards. I've never met a cowardly Jedi."

[Shade Magus]

"Depends on how you define a coward."

[Linn O'Conner]

"Someone who only wishes to protect themself, and cares nothing for anyone else," she looked away. "I fear I fall into this category."

[Shade Magus]

"I'm sure that's not true. There must be something you care about."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn thought. She'd never been presented with the question 'What do you care about?'.

"I suppose I have friends I care for...but I'm not really sure I ought to."

[Shade Magus]

"Why not?"

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"99 percent of them are the scum of the earth and would probably kill me before they'd stick up for me."

[Shade Magus]

"Well that sucks. Maybe they aren't real friends afterall."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn laughed.

"That does suck doesn't it? Many of them must not be friends. I have only a chosen few I would go to extremes for though."

[Shade Magus]

"Then atleast you have a few worthy of being called a freind. They must be honored."

[Linn O'Conner]

"Yes. I suppose. Many of them are gone though. Hiding from someone, or going thier own way, and I barely see them anymore. But I remember them, and we keep in touch one way or another."

[Shade Magus]

"Well, it is good you keep in touch with one another."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn nodded.

"Yes, I guess."

[Shade Magus]

"That's another good thing about being a JEdi. You can always feel your freinds no matter where they are in the universe.'

[Linn O'Conner]

"Yes, that would be handy," she thought a moment. "Can you feel your enemies?"

[Shade Magus]

"Actually yes. It is possible."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"That would be useful in some of my situations."

[Shade Magus]

"Useful in any situation."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn nodded.

"I'm sure."

[Shade Magus]

"May I ask why you are so curious? THainking about becoming a JEdi? Shade asked jokingly.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn laughed a little.

"I don't know. Maybe it's because I've never known anything about the Jedi aside from the fact that they carry lightsabers and several of them really don't like me."

[Shade Magus]

"Well, I'm not one of those Jedi."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"You're one of those people who never ceases to amaze me."

[Shade Magus]

"Me? Amazing?! Never." Shade said with a grin.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn laughed.

"You are amazing! To me anyway. I don't care what other people think," she said with a small smile.

[Shade Magus]

"Nice to know there is a fn somewhere out there."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"Well, if that's what I'm good for, I suppose it's a worthy occupation," Linn laughed.

[Shade Magus]

"I''m sure anything you do is worth it."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn tucked some hair behind her ear.

"Naw. Most I do is dictated and looked down upon," Linn leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes, and smiling. "But it's fine with me, if it's fine with you."

[Shade Magus]

"Not really. No one should be looked down upon or dictated."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn rubbed her eyes.

"That's the job I do, and if I wish to continue it, I have to accept the fact that I will be dictated," Linn shrugged. "And I have."

[Shade Magus]

"Yeah, well just because you accept it, doesn't mean other have to like it."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn pulled her legs up to her chest getting more comfortable in her seat. She looked at Shade.

"Well, a lot of people don't, but I don't have to deal with too many of them."

[Shade Magus]

"Well, you kinda have to deal with me right now." He said with a slight smirk.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn raised an eyebrow with a slight smile on her face as well.

"We could remedy that," she said mischieviously. She stood and turned, pretending as if she were going to leave.

[Shade Magus]

The chair turned and scooped Linn from under her, without even a motion from Shade. "But that would ruin our nice conversation and rob me of your lovely presence."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn gasped at being knocked off her feet. She laughed out loud.

"But your time could be used so much more wisely. I'm sure you could find someone much more interesting to talk to than me!"

[Shade Magus]

Shade looked around. "Sorry, but I don't see anyone more interesting."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled, standing again.

"You haven't talked to everyone, have you?"

[Shade Magus]

"Touche' but the same could be said for you. So how do you know there is someone more interesting hmm?"

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn looked about her.

"I'm sure I could find someone. I know there has to be someone around here more interesting."

[Shade Magus]

"Oohhh...so you know do you? Prove it."[/i]

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled cheekily.

"Fine." And with that Linn walked toward the a table in the far corner to where somone sat alone. She sat and talked with them for a few moments, but after a little bit he got up and left. Linn stood and looked around the bar.

It was then she realized, that that guy had been the only other person left besides she and Shade.

"Well," she said. "You're always more interesting. You could talk to yourself," she said smiling.

[Shade Magus]

"Oh yeah...that would be a sight. 'Hey mommmy mommy, look the Jedi is talking to himself. Is he special like Bubba?' I could just see it know," He said laughing.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"I wouldn't think you're wierd. Just endearing."

[Shade Magus]

"You'd probably be beside yourself there. I think I might even think I was crazy."[/i]

[Linn O'Conner]

"Well, you might actually be. But then we could be crazy together."

[Shade Magus]

"Such craziness....I don't know if I can handle it all."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn laughed.

"Then I am the wrong person to be with!"

[Shade Magus]

"Nah...I am just picking, I can handle a lot more than you could dish." He said challengingly.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn raised her eyebrows.

"Oh really? You think you can handle me?"

[Shade Magus]

"Is that a challenge I smell? Are you questioning my level of craziness?"

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn stood straight cockily.

"I am. What are you going to do about it?"

[Shade Magus]

"Need I remind you about my stunt earlier. Or prehaps you'd like to see it again?" He said as Linn's belt began to untighten along with the barkeep's who hadn't noticed yet.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn grabbed her belt tightened it.

"I swear if you pull that again I will turn around leave," Linn smiled coyly. "Besides, it would be unfair for you to have seen my underwear twice and I haven't seen yours even once!"

[Shade Magus]

"Umm....well...if you really want to see my underwear, I think I have a pair somewhere in my room. I could be mistaken, if not I could take you to the store and show you the kind I might wear."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn laughed.

"Your hopeless. I don't think it would matter at all what I said, you would find some clever reply to brush it off!"

[Shade Magus]

"Yeah, I've been told that if I would work on my Force techniques as much as my wits I would be the most powerful Jedi ever, but I just don't think that would be much fun."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"Yeah, but if your Force techniques are half as quick as your mouth, then you're in good shape."

[Shade Magus]

"Then I guess I might be in good shape." He gave a sly smile.

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled, shaking her head.

"You make me laugh."

[Shade Magus]

"I seem to get that a lot. I'm not sure if it is a good or bad thing."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"It's definately a good thing," Linn said. It was then she realized she was still standing. However, she was too wired to sit. "I'm too awake to sit anymore." She smiled wide at Shade.

[Shade Magus]

"Well what else would you like to do?"

[Linn O'Conner]

"I don't care. Anything that invloves movement."

[Shade Magus]

"Movement? I can think of way to many possiblities for that field of thought...way too many..."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"Name some."

[Shade Magus]

"Take your pick of a category. I can think of things from fighting to sports to...other(ahem)...activities," He said with a smile. "such as walking on the beach or in the gardens."

Linn brushed back some hair.

"You choose."

[Shade Magus]

Shade thought for a moment. "How about all of them?"

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn's eyebrows shot up. She walked over to him and leaned on the bar, looking at him.

"What?"

[Shade Magus]

"Well I can think of two places where we do do all of these things. One is the only natural lake on Coruscant and the other is an artificial beach not far from here. It is your pick which we go to, but the artificial lake is pretty high class and pricy, but I can get us in for free. I know some people there."

[Linn O'Conner]

Linn smiled.

"How about the beach?"
