I don't know where they managed to dig up those two Marylanders who exhibit outrageous and overtly backwoods accents. WTF is Smith Island? The standard D.C. Suburbs accent is the same thing as the regular American TV accent.

Out of all these mindless automatons, I'd say that the female from Birmingham, England has the nicest sounding accent. So devilish. She sounds like a James Bond villain.

I must apologize in advance on behalf of my countryman from San Diego. That individual must not hold little things such as literacy in very high regard.

Interesting.

The man from Syracuse, NY, had a very curious accent. It was some odd mixture of Upstate New York and Upper Midwest.

I think the most un-accented recording (of the English language ones, of course) was the woman from South Dakota. There were slight inclinations toward an Upper Midwest accent, but it was generally far more plain in comparison to the others. (There was one from California that likely would have been better, had he not slurred half of his words together).

This is the perfect utility for faking accents. Thank you.

(perfects his Polish, Parisian, and Dutch)

Five thick slabs of blue cheese ^_^

This is actually pretty neat, I just wish they hadn't made them say something so funny.

We need to get Fett to give them a sample.

Then we'll have an idea what a moron sounds like. (rimshot!)

Gotcha. :)

Please call Stella. Ask her to bring these things with her from the store: Six spoons of fresh snow peas, five thick slabs of blue cheese, and maybe a snack for her brother Bob. We also need a small plastic snake and a big toy frog for the kids. She can scoop these things into three red bags, and we will go meet her Wednesday at the train station ...

'Eee-aah kidda-la! Do us a solid an' give Stella a bell. Ask her to pick us up suttin' from the Inland Revenue - 6 spoons of fresh snow peas, 5 slabs of grotty, 'al' cheese, an' maybe a maaaas baaaaaa for ah kid Bob. We also need a footie an a derelict house for the kids to play with. She can lash 'em into three Marks'n'Sparksl bags, an we'll meet here on Wensdee at Limey. Ta'ra la!

That was astoundingly hilarious! Kudos to you, good sir!

In the U.S., accents seem to soften through the generations and become more like the American TV accent. Older people seem to have much stronger regional accents than their offspring. Perhaps this is because children are growing up with TV.

HAH!

I will summarise your accent in emoticon form:
:cool :zzz :smokin :hat
you sound like you've gotten into the Longbottom Leaf. After you've had a night's full of beverages, that is. I don't know what your right speaking voice sounds like.
