Okies, I got a question for ya'll that know how to use this. I just got it, and, when I try using the CD creator, it'll get anywhere from 30%-75% or so done, before completely stopping. It doesn't read any progress made. I let it sit for like an hour, and nothing happened. It just stopped.

Yet the Drag-To-Disc feature works more or less just fine.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Easy CD creator is a pile of steaming trash. Get a copy of Nero Buring ROM ASAP.

That fact aside....

Alpha, there's a few questions I could ask that would help out.

1) What type of CD media are you using? CD-R or CD-RW?

2) How old is the burner?

3) What's the OS?

I've had mixed issues with Nero. Sometimes its very good. Other times, its wonky.

You might be having a buffer issue. Try dropping your burning speed, and see if that helps.


And yes... Roxio would not be my first choice for CD burning. Nero 6 is good. As is Alchohol 120%. There are trial version of both available for download.

1) CD/R
2)About a year old. Speed is 40x 12x 48x
3) Windows 2000


And we had Nero before we had to reformat the harddrive, but I don't have the CD for it (It had come included with the comp).
