Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore strike comedy gold again!

I just went to see this last night, and it was amazingly funny and sweet and charming all at the same time. It was an Adam Sandler comedy along the lines of The Wedding Singer (no surprise due to the same co-star) and not so much the same as Billy Madison.

There was some gross-out comedy, but not as much as his earlier movies. I loved it, and my fiance really liked it too. Drew Barrymore plays Lucy, a girll who was in a horrible car accident and suffered brain damage to the part of her brain that turns short term memory into long term memory in her sleep. Adam Sandler is Henry, the aquarium vetrinarian who falls for her and ends up making her fall in love with him every day all over again.

Sean Astin takes a turn as Lucy's older brother who does steroids and wears net shirts, spandex shorts and has a hilarious lisp. As his first role that I've seen him in since LotR, I have to say it's definetely a different sort of role. ;) He did a good job though, completely hilarious.

All in all, two thumbs up and five stars out of five. :D:thumbup:thumbup
