Oh man, that will be great. I'll watch that episode, even though I've never actually watched the show before.

It's for real, Angel really is transformed into a puppet in next week's episode.

I've never watched the show, but I'm going to have to check this episode out. It's too goofy for words.

It's like something they would do in Buffy. I hope Angel is taking a more humorous turn too :D

Imagine the horror if he boffed Buffy now. He would be an evil muppet.

I just started watching this season, when Simon Templeman guest starred. :D I've always hated Buffy, but I've been surprised at the overall quality of Angel. The show never takes itself too seriously, yet never degrades into the horrid tirade of asinine one-liners like Buffy.

I never miss Angel.

But this...cant be true..

Buffy was funny and very clever. I loved all the characters JW created. Stupid one-liners were the formula for success.

The best was when Dracula came to town. :lol

Ironically enough, I just found out that Angel is being cancelled. :(

I'm not suprised, really. They were sort of running out of storylines, I think.

Well, I'd heard about plenty of plotlines they had in store. I guess it's all going to be unresolved now. Also, ratings are at their highest: It's easily the WB's highest rated show right now.

Well, now Whedon can concentrate on the Firefly movie, the Giles spinoff and X-Men :)

"You're a wee little puppet man!" :lol

That was classic, it really was :D

I was laughing throughout most of the episode. Especially when puppet Angel vamp-ed out near the end.

This episode was twisted! Funny too. I think my favorite moment was when Angel said, "My nose comes off," and he pulled his nose off his face.

:lol

I can't wait for this to air in the UK!

Both Buffy and Angel were good, but Buffy was a bit more campy than Angel. Buffy really ran it's course all the way through, but I think Angel had one, maybe two seasons left in it.

I'm not really keen to see a Giles spinoff of the series, though.

And the network makes me a liar by changing the time. I missed it last week (turned on to see the closing credits) and so saw the re-run of it tonight.

I have to say, muppet hands/fingers are the funniest damn things.

They should bring back Doyle. That kid was the best.

Yes, as I recall, it was due to a drug overdose :(.

Although last week's Angel was the first ep of the series I'd watched, I remembered that actor from his years as Becky's husband on Roseanne. He was a pretty good actor :(.

Yes..he was the dimwitted "Mark"

He was great on that too.

Thats just too sad :(

Doyle was my favorite character from the first season. I was so ticked when they knocked off his character, but I didn't know the guy had actually died. That saddens me. :(

NoOoo they are cancelling it? that sucks..

Personally i never really liked Buffy..it was that show that i would watch when nothing else was on..good for a laugh here and there..weird thing is being a guy I didnt like angel either.

But i thought what the hell ill try it..watched the first season, was definitly better then Buffy but i slowly tuned out of it. Recently for the passed 2 seasons ive been watching it religiously though. Its one of my favorite shows

Has a good balance of humor ( Most shows dont actually get a laugh from me but this one manages to nearly every time.

They also have a good dramatic effect to it im not gonna spoil it for anyone but the latest episode is a sad one.

Plus the fight scenes arent that bad.

The muppet episode had me rolling. I hadnt expected it when he first turned into one.

The show also has some pretty original stories to it too, with some of the best twists ive seen next to 24.

Really sucks they cancel shows when they really start to get rolling like Farscape.. but let shows that started out interesting but turn to complete crap like Andromeda (how the ...is that show still on?) stay on tv. bah..

Last night's episode of Angel was really, really good. If you're able, try to catch a re-run of it or watch it any way you can.

It was good, but not wholly unsurprising now that I know the show is cancelled :(

However,

It seemed reminiscent of the Cordy/Jasmin storyline to me.

Oh and..I say Astronauts! Everyone knows brain beats brawn

Pshaw Cavemen all the way

and yeah it does seem like the cordy story to me too. But this time I cared:p

Giles was always my favorite character, so I'm hoping that his spinoff is good.
