Man, that's awful. But sometimes, I don't see my roommates for days, simply because they come in when I'm already asleep, or during the day because our schedules are so incredibly different from one another. But for 18 months? That's crazy.

No kidding. That's just ridiculous. I get worried when I don't hear from some people for a few weeks. Sometimes a few days. It depends on the person's current mental, emotional and physical condition.
