Not bad - you can definitely see an evolution towards the Stormtrooper look from the OT. I'm not too wild about the visor though...

I don't think every troop gets one. I think it's more of a type of electro binocular than the actual visor. But I agree, it is ugly, whatever it is.

According to TF.N, only certain troopers have them - though it doesn't sound all that official...



You will see the new Clonetroopers in Issue #68 of Republic, by John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons, and Brad Anderson. "I think only certain troopers have the visor thingee."


It would make sense though that not all of them would have it. It looks like a piece of specialty equipment that either only certain troops have or they all have, but only use in certain situations.
