Long Overdue Summons [Complete]

[Navaria Tarkin]

Navaria turned off her personal computer and glanced at the chronometer. She would be here soon and there was going to be a lot to talk about. In her heart, the Knight knew that there would be no animosity towards her, but still... she left her Padawan in a bind. What she did gather was that Marga was doing excellent now in her studies. She was very pleased by this and saddened too. She should have been there for Marga...

Sighing, she rested her elbows on arms of the chair and waited.. glad to have the opportunity to explain herself to the student she left behind...

[Marga Alton]

Marga approaches Navaria's quarters at her usual walk, though she is excited to see her Master again she does her best to hide her excitement. When she reaches the door, she hesitates for a moment. But after hesitating for the briefest of seconds, she knocks on the door.

Domna Navaria, I'm here.

Marga says through telepathy.

[Navaria Tarkin]

Slowly her eyes closed upon sensing Marga. Some of the trepidation began to wash away as excitement was felt from her Padawan.. Then, a familiar presence touched her mind, which was returned in kind.

Please, enter Marga.

Navaria stood up from her chair, smoothing out her robes in preparation to greet her student after so many long months away.

[Marga Alton]

Marga smiles as she hears the request for her to enter. She opens the door, a smile on her face. After she enters the room, she closes the door behind her and then turns to face her Master. Her smile increases to a point where if it were possible for it to be ear to ear, it would be. She covers the last few steps between the two of them at a run and hugs her Master.

It's good to see you again.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She couldn't help but smile, any hesitation that was still lingering had disappeared as Marga hugged her. Navaria was deeply touched by this and hugged the Padawan warmly, petting her hair softly.

"I've missed you too... More then you can imagine..."

The Knight took a step back to gaze upon Marga, a saddness beginning to show within her blue eyes that softened them further then usual.

"I'm so sorry that I left you in a lurch like that, Marga... I hope you can forgive me."

[Marga Alton]

Of course I forgive you Domna Navaria. What matters is that you did not forget about me and that you are back.

I will let you know that Dom Shade has been helping me with my training while you have been gone. I hope that you can forgive me for seeking another to assist with my training while you were gone.

Marga says, her telepathic voice full of happiness at seeing Navaria again.

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Now, why would I be upset about that?"

She shook her head.

"No need to ask my forgiveness for that... I am actually proud that my absence did not deter you and you continued with your training."

The Knight let go of Marga and motioned towards the living room.

"I am eager to hear much about what you have learned while I was away."

[Marga Alton]

Marga walks over to the living room in silence. Upon reaching it, she seats herself on a chair and starts talking through telepathy.

Well Domna Navaria, I havn't learned alot in your absense. Mainly I've gotten it so I can touch the Force for other things other telepathy and not slip back into my memories.

Marga leaves off there, wanting to say more, but not knowing how to explain it.

[Navaria Tarkin]

In a way, she was upset at herself that Marga had to fend for herself in learning how to deal with her regressions, but... her pupil was stronger for it and succeed in her absence.

"Why do you hesitate?"

Her eyes filled with concern.

"Did something happen while I was away with your training?"

[Marga Alton]

Yes and no. Nothing bad if that's what you worry about. I hesitate because I don't know how to explain it.

Basically, when I get myself touching the Force for more then just my telepathy, I swear that I can see the movement of the air. Which way it's moving, where it's going. This has never happened before and I don't know how I'm doing this.

IC- She narrowed her eyes, studying Marga for a moment. The Padawan could feel a touch of the Force brush passed her skin as she felt the familiar power being used by a more experienced Jedi.

"How do you feel you are doing this?"

Was all Navaria asked, somewhat greatful that Marga had decided to talk about her training first instead of what had happened to her.

[Marga Alton]

I do not know Domna. When I go through my exercise to touch the Force, I manage that, but I can feel or see the movement of the air. It just seems to happen.

Marga said, her responce simple.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She smiled knowingly.

"Well, you'll be happy to know that it is just an innate ability that a Jedi possesses. Simply put, once a Jedi has a calm mind and is able to project that into the Force through meditation... we can easily see the Force that surrounds us."

[Marga Alton]

Marga smiles and nods her head as relief flows through her. What she sees is normal, but a small part of her screams that it's something more then just what is normal, but she doesn't pay attention to that right now.

Thank-you Domna. That's a relief to hear that seeing that is normal.

I have a question for you if you shall allow it.

[Navaria Tarkin]

Her face quickly turned serious, knowing what the question was before Marga spoke it. "Of, course. You can ask me anything."

[Marga Alton]

Why did you leave for so long and what happened while you were gone?

Marga questions, her telepathic voice sounding quieter then normal.

[Navaria Tarkin]

"I was only going on a holiday for a short time, wanting to spend time on Bakura, my home planet. The details are still fuzzy, but I was visiting my mother's grave when I was attacked. It was Dalethria... " Even the memory of what happened still caused a slight throb to begin right above her right temple. Still she wasn't fully recovered. ".. then I woke up, completely unaware of who I was, or even where I was."

[Marga Alton]

Marga nods her head slightly. The mid-teen understands that things happen.

But you will be alright now, right?

Marga questions.

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Well," she sighed, not really knowing the answer to that. "If there are any side effects, I suppose I will know in time. My fate lies with the Force, and I pray it will protect me."

[Marga Alton]

If you need any help with anything Domna, I'm willing to help you to the best of my abilities.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She was touched. Marga had to know that her efforts to avert any side effects that were caused by a Dark Jedi Master would be beyond her abilities. "You're are sweet to offer, my Padawan, but I think my abilities would be more suited to helping you as of right now." The Knight grinned. "I presume you'd like to get back to training?"

[Marga Alton]

I understand that my abilities would probably not be able to help deal with any side effects, but that does not mean that I could not help. Sometimes all it takes is a kind ear to listen, and that I know, is something I can do.

As for my training, I would very much like to get back to it.

[Navaria Tarkin]

"I willl remember that Marga... Now, I know where we left off in your training. Where has training taken you now that I have returned? I know you said it wasn't alot but now I need specifics."

[Marga Alton]

Aside from managing to touch the Force while calm for things other then telepathy, I've managed to due a bit of work on a molecular level in changing the hardness of a rock. That is all that I have managed the bit with the rock came after many tiring hours.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She looked a bit stunned, "You are working on more advanced techniques? We really need to prepare yourself better before trying such things again, but ... I will have to admit. The fact that you could even do a little after a few hours shows much patience and potential Marga."

[Marga Alton]

Marga smiles at what Navaria says.

Thank-you Domna. Patience is one thing I can thank my parents for since without them, I might not have the patience that I have now.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She frowned, "I'd rather it have been for reasons besides that. But, I'm happy that you waited for me, uncertain when, or if, I'd returned. I think tomorrow we shall start anew, working together on your training."

[Marga Alton]

I would like that alot Domna.

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Excellent. I will see you bright and early in our normal training room then. Unless, there was anything else you needed to talk about with me?"

[Marga Alton]

No Domna, nothing right now. I'll see you tomorrow then.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She stood up, waiting to escort Marga to the door. "Excellent. I look forward to it."

[Marga Alton]

Marga stood up and went to the door with Navaria. Once there, she hugs Navaria.

I look forward to it as well Domna, and I'm happy to see you again.

Marga says before she exits the room to head back to her quarters.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She lingered outside the doorway until Marga was out of sight. Talking with her Padawan again reaffirmed that things were settling into place once more for her. Navaria was very happy to be home again.
