Ok, Some comp help...

My comp needs a reformatting. Problem is, that takes out your OS, right? Well, how do I install the OS from the CD? Normally, I'd ask my dad, but both parents are outta town for now.

Your CD drive is in the boot sequence, it's just after the hard drive. So, if your hard drive is newly formatted, all you need is the OS CD in the drive, and your comp will boot using that, then go through the installation process.


To be honest... if you don't know what you are doing, wait for help.
