Can someone tell me how to make this compatible for al browsers? Show me a site that tells you how or something?

http://somafix.net/dm/menu.html

It is all messed up in Mozilla and Opera. I've never worried about this, but am today. If it's too difficult, nm. I'm not getting paid to code this, but want to learn anyway.

And I don't want to hear any negative comments about the design, please. I am also aware that it isn't done, and links aren't working.

Thanks.

Rollover effects such as those can be done via javascript easily, with no flash needed. Other than that suggestion I have none because I don't code flash.

I'm getting rid of the flash menu anyway and doing precisely that. So, there isn't something in the HTML that makes it crappy in other browsers?

I don't know because the only problem I see in my FB browser is the rollover button sizes which is all handled via flash as far as I could see.

If I was guessing and trying to troubleshoot, my first guess would be to try moving the height and width attributes to the embed tag instead of it being in the object tag, but I could be way off too, though height and width do seem to be the problem in mozilla style broswers.

Okay. Thank you. :)

A little playing around and I got it working correctly in both browsers (IE/Moz). Mozilla/FB seem to not like whitespace between the embed tags while IE ignores the whitespace, and Moz also needs the height and width attributes in both the object and the embed tags.

Here is a link to the modified code I fiddled with:

BTW: I didn't check it in Opera, but I suspect that it probably works right now, since it does in IE and Moz/FB. :)

THANK YOU. Just spaces, eh? Hmph. I love you (again).

:p Zasz

No need to start a new thread, but today I have another problem.

I have a printer sending me images (this company used to use her and now they're using me) - she has a mac - I have a PC. She sent me some eps files and can't open them, even in PS. She also sent me some dat files.

Anyone know a way I can open these files or convert them?

Have you tried to use ifranview?

http://www.irfanview.com/

If they're on a floppy she probably mac formatted the disk, or something equally stupid.
