Well, wish me luck I suppose (EDIT - Finished at post 31)

For I am but 14 hours from my first exam.

9AM start, and I will fail. I know precisely nothing, and this is after a lot of study. It's one of those ones where you need to write page after page and use the EXACT right words for everything. To get a proper pass I'd need a MINIMUM of about 35% to pass, assuming I get 50% on my coursework. I might even struggle to make the 20% I'd need to get a conpensated fail (Basically, you can have three fails in the 30-39% range and they let them off).


Next two on THursday and Friday, I have more confidence in. Systems and Simulation has a lot of work, and I'll need to work hard in these last few days to sharpen my knowledge, but I think I can pull it off. And Computer Ethics needs minimal knowledge (Remember the writer names and general principles of quotes, remember real world experiences, remember the order to analyse ethical cases), is steeped in opinion and already has a decent mark thanks to my 30% coursework getting 70%. I might actually do well in that one, but I'm not building my hopes up, I'd rather be pleasantly suprised than bitterly dissapointed :)

Ah...:) Yup, Filling in C works like a charm. :D Or, you can always make pretty shapes and junk outta the filled in bubbles. I was bored during one test, and wrote my name by filling in a bunch of the answer bubbles. :D

Don't think I'll get a high Ethics mark. Part 2 of the exam just looks baffling, and still not fully getting what I'd have to do, let alone how to :)

Sys/Sims looks a bit better now, I was understanding the past papers more or less fully. Few areas to polish, and I'm set :)
