And finally, audiences will have to wait a little longer for the bloody conclusion to Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill." Variety reports that Miramax has bumped "Vol. 2" from Feb. 20 to April 16. No word on why it was moved.

Is this old news? I didn't bother checking at Variety so I don't know if any other details were given there.

The DVD is delayed too, and thanks to the Miramax jerks, Punisher will probably be moved, and may not reappear for months (It's April 16th also, and there arent many gaps later).

Wouldnt be suprised if they simply realised how well KIll Bill can do. So they moved it to a weekend with another violent action revenge heavily-rated movie coming out. Grr...

So now what do I have to look forward to this February? This doesn't suprise me to be honest, I knew the Feb date was a little iffy and that there was some speculation about it and as much as it saddens me to have to wait longer for it's release, I'd rather they made sure the editing work and all the finishing touches are nice and polished.

They probably wanted to make sure they got the DVD out and properly saturated the market. After all, Kill Bill vol 2 probably wouldn't make much money off of those that didn't see vol 1.
