Jaida Starslinger

Jaiden Starslinger watched the buildings fly by as she followed her escort to a landing pad. Coruscant was the heart of the New Republic and home of the Greater Jedi Order, where she was headed.
She leaned back in her command chair and took her helmet off, revealing dirty blonde hair. As far back as she could remember, she had loved the stories her father told her about the Jedi Knights. When she found out that she was Force-sensitive, her mind was made that she would become a Jedi.
Before her sister, Mirasta died, she had promised her that she would follow her dream. And now, here she was. She landed her heavily modified A-Wing. She had built the thing from scratch, with a little help from her father.
Once she was landed, she got out and looked around the landing platform. She didn't expect anyone to be out to meet her. She took off her flight suit and threw it into the cockpit.
As she walked away from her baby, she ran a nervous hand through her short hair. This was it. Her dream was finally coming true. Well, it would if she was accepted, but she didn't know why they wouldn't accept her. She really wanted this. She was in good shape, and she knew that the path of the Jedi wasn't an easy one, but she was willing to follow it to the end.
Finally, she found herself inside the recruitment center. Her heart pounded in anticipation as she strode up to the desk. The person working there was occupied, so she waited patiently for them to finish, all the while calming herself down so she didn't look like an over-excited idiot when she spoke with the person at the desk.
