Blazer X4U
The Blazer X4U is a higher performance version of the Blazer X4. Like its brother, it is larger than the X3 series and cheaper to produce.
Sheet-class QuadIon
Ten 140 meter QuadIon generators are on the prow of the ship. Two officers, directly connected by the CTS system, working in tandem, can individually angle each shield.
Reax Ultra Sensor Package
The RUS package is designed to be able to take in entire battlefields in the blink of an eye. The system is specifically designed to find flaws in formations of vessels. The sensors are sophisticated enough to read weapons being used, shield strengths, slight motions, gravity changed, and much, much more.
Ultra Heavy Densa Cannons
The Densa Cannons of the Dirk run on cycles, the first firing, then the second, then the third. The weapons are located in the nose of the vessel; however, they can be traversed with micro-adjuster “muscles” located in each firing tube.
Quick Drop Pod Release
On the lower portion of the vessel there is a 200-meter long tube. The tube contains 800-drop pods capable of being launched in under a minute. This is done by a simple rotating method and quick release.
Forward Launch Bays
Two forward bays are located at the front of the vessel. Each can launch executioner death droids or DHC’s in their drop pods along with the full allotment of stormtroopers’ vessels.
History
With the new war starting, the Imperator and his design team quickly drafted the Dirk, making her fairly cheap to produce and reliable. Like most Federacy designs, the Dirk incorporates new and old technologies.
The Dirk-class cruiser was designed for a dirty job, penetrating enemy military formations, relaying back weaknesses, and dropping ground forces. With her well-rounded array of weapons, the dirk can act as a quick response vessel reinforcing weak positions in the fleet. The engines of the Dirk are the fastest to date, and take up a good portion of the rear of the vessel. The Dirk was mainly designed for close range combat, as her Sheet-class QuadIon shields and Enmity cannons show.
