One is sung as a Christmas carol and the other......omg, Im so gonna look stupid (like thats ever stopped me before, huh?) but......isnt Greensleeves about a 'lady of the evening'?

Actually, there are slight differences in tempo at points in the songs. Or at least, that's the way I learned to play Greensleeves. My musical schooling's pretty small though, so hey- I just might be wrong.

They are actually two different tunes. Very similar, but not fully identical.

Aren't the two generally played in different key signatures?
Rhythmically, they're similar, but key isn't, from what I recall.

I dont got a clue Daiq. I know probly 4 words of Greensleeves, and one of them is "Greensleeves"

This is another one of those 'I cant remember exactly' things, but I know there is a song which was based on ladies of the evening and a spin off on that to a song that became popular nation wide :\

They might be different keys, but I was a church pianist for four years and the tune to "What Child is This?" is called...."Greensleeves." They are the same tune.
