Its the new movie with Ben Afleck. Can we say Bourne Identity anyone? Its almost as if they both must do the same stuff.

John Woo movie, count me in :D

And Ryan, both this and Bourne are adaptations, studios held the rights to both before either was announced.

Yeah, Philip K Dick wrote both Minority Report and Paycheck though both stories may or may not have had different titles. I have read one PKD book and that was 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' from which Ridley Scott's Bladerunner was adapted from. A great book and offers an interesting contrast to the movie. Both equally good.

But I, for one, am not that hyped over this movie, Paycheck, because it appears too similar to Minority Report -- a man on the lam from a big brother-like entity.

I love movies that remind me of 1984. It's one of my favorite books ever, so it's nice to see the various spins people put on the idea :)

A.I. was adapted from a crummy short story entiltled "Supertoys Batteries Last All Summer."
