I cant decide who to rant agains the most - the user who simply ran me around for three fucking hours, without a clue how to use a PC (FFS, she thought she browsed the web with Outlook Express -_-) or the dickwack so called PC expert that, when faced with a simple problem that could have been fixed in a few minutes, wiped her machine and lost all her files, photos, programs and settigns.

And lied about that too. The user said the so called PC expert has been giving her training.... OMG WHAT????? She knew fuck all! What's this shithead PC expert doing?????

No, on second thoughts, the user is okay. It's yet again the fucking, studip moron PC shop that have no fucking idea hwo to set up and test a PC, that do a half assed job, piss off their customers so bad.... Almost every ome user I've looked after int he last few months have been dudded by dick whacks in shit place PC stores. Oh, the store I do on-site work for, they have no idea either. I'm charging on average 180 to get this shit fixed and the users, who wouldnt need me if the fuckign things were put together right first time, think thats a bargain!. Why, becuase you actually have a PC that works?

-_-

Oh and the other thing. Almost every single home user has been screwed over by a non Anglo 'Expert'. Racist? Fucked if I know, people are telling me flat out they woud have hung up if I sounded Asian. Because they dont fix the probelm and no one understands them.

I need a beer after today. A very long and cold one.

:lol @ Morg

I know what Marcus is saying though. When I had to call the support ppl for the last pc, half the time they didnt know what they were talking about...and you guys know that Im lost when it comes to pc stuff! I would usually end up getting the standard reply which seems to be 'your board is probably bad and you should replace it' or 'you need to update your drivers'.

Well, there's beer for different moods. Want to relax the bullshit away, or want something to simmer on your tongue and fuel your rage?

For the former, I suggest a Rolling Rock. Its a perfect relaxer, especially as the weather starts to get warm.

For the latter, Dixie Crimson Voodoo. Its just mean, and will make you meaner.

Becks Premium. That was quite a tasty drop. I'm starting to get into that or James Boag premium. $15 per six long necks, but worth it for relaxation value.

Or a nice glass of red wine.

Did I say a year ago I didnt touch alcohol? I've had more this year than I've had the rest of my life. That's not hard, just a glass of red or a long neck a day. Least today's lot of users were clued in. Even if one user's PC had 209 ad-aware detected items and 7 viriuses AFTER his previous knob PC 'expert' tried to fix it.

My fileserver/family PC had a bunch of infected files on it. I really wish no one but me could use it :( Fortuantely, I cleaned it up. I ran AV on my box, which was clean, of course.

What the fuck? $15 bucks for a sixer of domestic beer???

Even if it's premium, WHAT THE FUCK?

That's sky-high!

The most I've paid for a six pack is 12 bucks, and that's for Samuel Smith. In other words, an import from England, that's so fancy that the bottlenecks are wrapped in gold leaf.

This is also in Alabama, where liquor is somewhat more expensive than other states.

The most I'd rationally part with for a sixer would be 8 or 9 bucks. That's a fancy domestic or a really nice import. My usual poison is around $7 for a six pack.

You have to remember that is in Aussie dollars. 1.00 USD = 1.38142 AUD.

That'll be $10 - 11 USD. Boag Premium is about as expensive as it gets here. Worth it though, not a bad drop and why it's only for when a bad day needs putting behind me :)

what really pisses me off is the dickwack 'experts' PC freaks is the lack of attention to detail. For fucks sake, not that hard to spend 10 mins QA'ing. and bluntly the guy who's shop I'm doign onsite shit for, he fucks up details too. Just easy to see and fix too. You just dont go lettign PC's out the door without some sort of QA.

and he's one of the better ones -_-
