Now one of the nocturnal beasts that haunt the night, Lexius sat in his room adjusting to his new schedule. For some reason he was still quite used to sleeping during the night instead of the other way around. But he was slowly adjusting, now able to sleep from midday to a bit past midnight. Soon he'd be a normal vampyre, sleeping from dawn to dusk.

Being rather late in the night he knew his master would be roaming around awake as well. Maybe now was the time to start training. He was given the choice when to begin so he could adjust to his new way of life, but he couldn't wait any longer for his body's rejection attempts to ebb away.

So he stood from the side of his bed and exited the room and walked down the hallway, not knowing for sure where to find Ambrose at this time of night.

The halls of the Shrine told stories that some would only dream about, and Ambrose knew every one. His footsteps echoed through the halls as he walked, his night-black cloak shuffling around his feet as he did so. A sudden feeling came over him as he trudded down the archaic hallway. It was the presence of his dark apprentice Lexius De Wilde. It had been about a month since the young vampire had accepted the dark gift, presented to him by the Dark knight Ambrose Braeden. From then on, they have had a bond with each other, one that could not be broken easily.

He knew that the young fledgling was searching the halls for him, to begin his training in the dark arts of vamprie. Ambrose clung to the shadows as he navigated his way through the shrine, letting the force guide his path.

A little while later

Lexius stopped and could feel the presence of his master and knew that he was close. Ambrose could see the look upon the vampire's face. He stepped out of the shadows to stand in front of the vamprie.

"Lexius, go to the Blood Pitt. You will find me there waiting for you. It is time for you to begin your training."

Ambrose stepped backwards, letting the shadows engulf him once more.

When his master stepped back into the shadows, the young vampyre apprentice nodded and began to immediatly travel down the long dark hallways to the Blood Pitt.

The flames from the torches played against the statues that stood randomly at one side or the other of the hallway, causng Lexius' shadow to create the illusion that someone was following him. He knew that this was merely a trick of the eye, so he kept moving until he arrived outside of the doors.

Ambrose knew that his apprentice Lexius De Wilde stood outside of the doorway that led into the Blood pitt. Ambrose could feel his presence and knew that he had arrived on time. Ambrose, his back still turned away from the door waved his hand in an ornate fashion, and the doors to the Blood pitt gave way to the Dark Side of the Force. Ambrose replaced his hand behind his back, clasping them together once again. He could hear the echo of the footsteps that were made by Lexius, and knew every fear, and curiosity that he know expirienced.

It had been a month since the Dark Knight had given the Dark Gift to Lexius De Wilde. It had been a month since he had drank his blood, and returned the favor to the young human. But now he was a Vampire, and was now one of the Dark Side adepts. A vampire is a creation of the Dark Side, so no matter whan, he can do nothing else but evil biddings.

Ambrose turned his hean to stare into the eyes of his apprentice and could see the horror behind his big beautiful eyes. He approached the young man and haulted in front of him, staring down at him.

"Lexius, how nice it is of you to show up on such short notice, but as you well know, it is time to begin your training as a Vampire."

Ambrose stepped back away from him and crouched into his fighting position. Lexius knew what he must do.

"First lesson...Combat training..."

The doors had opened on their own and Lexius continued his treck into the Blood Pit until he stood a certain distance from his master.

"Lexius, how nice it is of you to show up on such short notice, but as you well know, it is time to begin your training as a Vampire."

Ambrose stepped further away from Lexius then assumed a suitable fighting position. "First lesson...Combat training..."

Lexius blinked, not believing that this would be his first lesson. All along he thought he would be eased into it. But master knew best, so he too crouched into a fighting position and readied himself for the go ahead to begin, or any possible requirements Ambrose wanted Lexius to touch on especially during this lesson.
