Maybe this is just me being overly-sensitive, but are beaten up women and dead horses considered fine to upload?

Yes.

I couldn't care less, especially when taken into context.

Okay. I just don't get how a corpse can be fine whatever the context, but a swear word is bad and two in a thread gets it closed.

Are you talking about the "I win" image? Because, otherwise, I can't find any pictures of a dead horse.

Aside from the fact that I doubt that's a real corpse, you can see any such thing in your local newspaper (at least, here in the states). If it were more graphic, I'd be more inclined to agree.

As far as the beaten woman goes: Would this (http://www.toonman2.bizland.com/pitt.gif) somehow be more appropriate? A beaten person is a beaten person.

I've only seen a beaten woman, I was saying woman because then you'd know which I meant, there might be some who looked similar :)

Well, the picture I linked to never came into debate when used as an avatar for Sanis.

I don't really have a problem with a horse's corpse. But then, I see such things every few weeks when I visit Northern Florida. Dead horses, snakes, boar, turtles... all a pretty common sight, for me.

Not trying to sound defensive, but I do get tired of thin skinned bleating.

Fine, I just wanted to ask.

As I said, I may just be desensitized to the material.

The dead horse image borders very close to the "No Gore" PhotoPost restriction (stated on the Upgrade purchase page and in the PhotoPost FAQ, so I'm going to go ahead and remove it.

^ when presented like that, I can see it as a valid point.
