View Full Version : Supporter Exclusive styles

TheHolo.Net
Nov 10th, 2003, 10:54:53 PM
I mentioned in a topic or two in public that there would soon be five new Supporter Exclusive Style sets for our forums.

Here are the first three:

Deathstar (/forum/index.php?&styleid=74) Graphics by Dasquain - Coded by SWFans.Net

Slicer - Imperial (/forum/index.php?&styleid=75) Graphics by s'Ilancy - Coded by SWFans.Net

Slicer - Alliance (/forum/index.php?&styleid=76) Graphics by s'Ilancy - Coded by SWFans.Net

I think the Portal for the two slicer styles is still going to be touched up with some more graphics eventually, but for the most part these styles are ready.

If you are wondering why these styles do not appear in the drop down lists at the bottom of most of the forum pages the reason is this: These styles can only be used by Supporters. If a non supporter clicks a link for any of these styles, they will be presented with the Default Style instead of the new one. Why tease the majority of posters with selections in the drop downs that do not work.

The style titles will appear under the names of those who have selected them through their UserCP options. In UserCP options will be the only place you will find these style names to be selected as permanent, though my links above will work fairly well. Non-Supporter members will not have these styles as options in their UserCPs.

Enjoy and give the artists feedback if you want to. :)

Two more styles are currently in the works and set to be worked on in the near future.

A "Supporter Styles" drop down selection box that only SWFans Admins, SWFans mods, and SWFans Supporters can see has been added for ease of style switching.

Sweet new styles. Great work for those involved!

I also like the new dropdown box, because I wont have to goto the control panel to switch styles. Thumbs up! :)

I like all of them, but I gotta say, I'm definitely into Endor. I love greens and browns and it's very mild and pleasing. Nice work to Morgan and everyone else! :)

Endor looks fabulous. Good job Morg.

Just looking at all these fancy stylesets, I remembered when all we had at the early ezboard days was a just a Banner pretty much.

You guys all got so clever!

So in the last week I've learned the forum goes down on women and also has a admin options link in profiles.

Can it also do taxes and keep beer cold?
