Amidst the impurity and feculence which is that of Coruscant, the “esteemed” home to that of the New Republic government, a dyad of equally impure and nefarious beings dwelled. Casting an acerb glom over the city’s view, Grev slumped with his arms suspended languidly over the balcony railing; his perched position towering that of kilometers from the reaches of Coruscant’s base. He had frequented the city quite often with his erudition under Zasz Grimm, and today was no exception to his teachings. Undoubtedly, this was yet another training exercise spurred by his master, and as usual he would have no prior counsel on what exactly lie ahead.

It seemed the spontaneous of Grimm was just as much part of his discipline than the actual missions. He seemed to abide on how well the apprentice could adapt, and whether or not he weathered through each passing week of the harshness he was subjected to.

Pulling himself from the wilted position, he stood and began back to the sanctum of the room, his eyes meeting that of his master’s stern posture before he could take another step. Giving a curt nod, the startled apprentice clasped his hands behind his back in an obeisant manner, before acknowledging Grimm.

“Tell me, what brings us again to Coruscant?”

Zasz had been there far longer than Grev knew. He had been watching his apprentice. And he had been watching the bustle that was Coruscant.. It seemed to be elegant beauty, the symphony of all the sky cars. But in all actuality, it was chaos. Especially for the drivers. He grinned as he stepped forward, placing his hands on the railing of hte balcony. He looked down. It was a long drop to the next level- a level of populated people.

He looked back to his apprentice. Zasz could easily make the jump. It would be nothing for him; but could Drasen? Was he that skilled with the Force. Perhaps this was a time to find out.

"Jedi. They bring us here, my apprentice. It is time to see how you may fare against an actual opponent, in a life or death situation."

He spoke. But of course he lied. Every training excercise so far had been a life or death situation for Grev. Zasz knew, however, that his apprentice was well aware he was making him stronger. More knowledgable. He peered over the edge.

"Do you see the level below us?"

Remaining in his upright position, the apprentice nodded as Grimm began to speak of the Jedi. It was true that the Order had uprooted their headquarters and relocated to the city, but he had dealt little with the Jedi since his alignment with Zasz and the erstwhile Black Hand. He had faced countless opponents in the past, but never in the presence of his master; and he figured it would be no different this time.

“Do you see the level below us?”

Only his mind could linger on what exactly Grimm was apprising to as he acknowledged the ledge before them. The drop spanning for what seemed an eternity, one any sane being would avoid capering about. Giving the canyon a final once-over, he turned to his master.

“I can only assume what you will require of me.”

"The force is a useful ally, Grev. With it you can accomplish most anything. Well used it can cause an opponent to loose balance. Some can even use elemental attacks with it. Some use it for acrobatics. In this instance- it can be used to wrap around you in a blanket. Cushioning your fall. All it takes, is the will to use it; and the concentration to understand the task."

He spoke- making his words known to his apprentice. He smiled to Grev. He had confidence in his apprentice. He moved closer to the balconies edge. It was quite the long drop; but it only gave those making the fall more time to safeguard themselves from it. He looked back to Grev as he lifted himself up on the balcony.

He stood and then jumped forward, the clercal-like garb he wore hitting the wind. It fluttered as he fell quickly, like a meteor soon to hit the ground below. He enjoyed the feeling, the rush. He blinked a few times as he used his tool; his aide, the Dark Side. He made it flow through him, and then slowly around him.

However, the ground was coming quickly. Zasz watched, realizing this- however his maneuver was finished. People watched, screaming as they saw someone falling- certain to die from the long fall.

However, right before he would have hit the ground, he seemed to stop. To float over it. It was then that he released his grip, his control over the force. His boots hit the ground and he walked forward. The people around were awed, moving backwards slowly.

Zasz, however, looked up to the sky, the direction he came- waiting for Grev.

Following in his master’s bravura, Grev too ascended the balcony railing, balancing himself along the narrow concrete which reached out over the city. He couldn’t bother glancing down, but instead kept his concentration fully riveted upon his task at hand. As he stood atop the structure, he could only embrace the austere winds of the city as they berated his skin, allowing his duster to flail violently in its grasp; though he never seemed to stray from his diligence.

Respiring for a bitter end, he exhaled deeply before taking a last step from the balcony’s ledge, his body now plummeting at a rapid rate as stories of office buildings and luxury apartments passed his breakneck fall. For what seemed like hours, he closed his eyes and he too embodied the “aide” which Grimm had described.

Feeling a sensation pulsate throughout his body, he continued to descend at a winged speed before nearing only meters from the concrete below; on which his already bewildered audience could only watch again, this time their concealed desire hoping for a death to animate their systematic day. Opening his eyes, he felt his body opposing the force of gravity, as his body decelerated on point.

Just as his master had, though a bit more recklessly, he hovered feet above the ground before he touched base with the concrete below, his heart rate beginning to conform back to its wonted pace. He approached Grimm, a bit curious with his response.

Zao watched the Jedi, they were amazing… he himself was a Jedi pad wan, learning the ways of the force. Though he hadn’t acquired a master yet, he was taking classes at the academy on Yavin 4. He was on Couruscant, home of the New Republic… but he was far from home on the capitol planet. He was a Chiss of the planet Csilla. But he was living proof that everyone of his race was not the evil, maniacal, villains that they were made out to be. True that Grand Admiral Thrawn was of Csilla, in fact, Zao was of the same tribe as him, but that doesn’t mean that all of the Chiss are evil. Zao looked over to the two Jedi, he figured that they must be Master and Apprentice. He started to feel the jealousy rise in him, but he was a Jedi, he had to resist that urge… he squashed that emotion just as fast as he stepped forward to speak to them. Zao had gotten into the habit of meeting as many Jedi as he could… he took a deep breath, today was so windy, his robes billowed in the wind. he liked wearing his Chiss robes, which was not something Jedi wore. It slightly resembled a Jedi attire, but not much. but, it didn't matter because he had been different since he first joined the Order…
he was in fact the first Royal Chiss to become a Jedi… He tuned a corner, only to feel a surge of the Force... It was an odd feeling, of impending doom… he felt it resignating from the two supposed Jedi, he wasn’t so sure they were now… he had to find out fro himself… he walked over to the two of them, “ Greetings, I wish you know harm… but I felt a great disturbance in the force, and it was coming form this area… will you join me in the Tavern?” he pointed to Zenuck’s Tavern, just meters away from them…

Zasz watched as his apprentice made the descent, albeit sloppily. It was still impressive, for never having practicing the maneauver before. It could have killed Grev if he had made one mistake. He was about to compliment the young man, until someone spoke.

He turned to the Jedi; or what appeared to be one. A chiss. He narrowed his eyes at the man- interruption never went well with the Dark Jedi. He shrugged the man off, and gave him a reply.

"No; we won't."

He turned back to his apprentice, Grev, before he spoke..

"Yes; Excellent. You performed as I expected you to. Now, come with me."

His dark robes billowed as he began to walk.

For a moment he allowed the being a sober glance before turning to his Master who had already began away from the scene. His mind lingered on decapitating the Jedi forthwith in the public eye, and in fact his hand had already acquainted itself with the comfort of the light saber hilt.

Though he thought better of it, and turned in the trails of Grimm; following his Master to his desired location.

After all, he was on a training mission, and little things that could interrupt the proprieties of such would surely warrant him censure from Zasz. Though the Dark Jedi Master would more than likely enjoy such a display of a headless Jedi.

“Where now, Master?”

He turned back to the Jedi, as he had a sinister idea. He looked to his young apprentice and then back towards to the large bar. He moved his hand forward, in a bidding fashion..

"Cause a scene."

It meant he wanted any authority figure, or Jedi to come. He would see how his apprentice did in such a situation. He walked away; if Grev required assitance, Zasz would give it.
