I think I'm still confused about this one. Let's see if I get it right.

When I register and pay for an upgraded account, I get to choose my title (be it picture or text). If I only wanted to pay for a custom title, I could pay for one for, say, Charley, and specify what I wanted it to be, like a picture of a flower, or something ridiculous, and Charley would have to...buy another CT and change it back?

Am I rite or am I left? :)

This is somtheing people pay for, either individually or with their suporter upgrade. Too many rules would muck it up and make for dissatisfied people. Stay on the good side of other supporter members and malicious CTs shouldn't be a problem. These CTs will only be displayed in these forums just as it is now. You can only see the "I have no CT" under your name in these forums.

Your first CT comes with the initial Supporter account purchase, though someone else could pay to have it changed after you are one.

Is there a way for a person to request their CT not be changed, in spite of purchases to the contrary? I'm just thinking some people won't want in on the 'joke CT' game, and won't want to have to shell out sets of 5$ just to keep their CT the way it is.

I wasn't suggesting that you should 'grow up' by paying $5 to change it every back every time someone else changes it. Quite the contrary, in fact. I was suggesting that you live with it. It's just a custom title.

Let me also clarify. No one is exempt from having their CT changed, not even administrators. If I hear a CT was purchased for an admin and then changed without payment for a new CT there will be consequences. This even applies to me. :)

Oh, one question I should have asked - Acceptible CT's also include images of acceptible size?

And if images are allowed, I presume pedo, hardcore and gore are out?

Yes, Pedo Hardcore and Gore are include in the FAQ in here and acceptable sizes are listed on the purchase form page. I will start a pair of topics in the open forums tomorrow covering the rules as they stand, all in one place.

I suspect so, but am unable to confirm right now if it exceeds the CT criterea stated on the Info/Purchase Form page. "panic" (the host it is on) appears to be unavailable at the moment.

After thinking this through some more, I have decided that Random image scripts will not be allowed. It wouldn't be fair for those who have static CTs they can't change unless they pay to see someone else have one they can change just by adding different images to the random routine.

Random image scripts are now addressed in the Supporter/CT Purchase Form & Information page as not being allowed for use as CTs.

We're going to have to host CT images on our own server (be it SWFans or some other form of private image hosting). If we hot-link the images from the supporter's own site, he can change the image any time he wants.

I'd be willing to use my server (www.grimmshadow.net) as a place for people to have image CT's. I can imagine 7.5 gigs of bandwidth could handle custom titles / signatures i have and i host for others.
