...has been updated and revamped to fit with each individual style here at SWFans, now if we could just come up with more News items for it. >_<

I spent many hours doing the upgrade, which I suspect quite a few people noticed considering I got 189 DB error emails during the upgrade while people were trying to load the forums. Making the style changes and doing the upgrade was hard work, hopefully at least a few folks like it. >D :p

Heh, thats nearly a "few" already, my work is almost done.

Hmmm, I've already added one add-on custom module (Shoutbox) and done one custom hack (Avatars in Portal Header) to the new version of vBPortal, now I wonder if there are any vBP hacks that strike my fancy.

Looks great, Ogies! :D I had a bit of a prob though in the sense when I logged in on the portal, and changed the style set, and clicked on the link for forums, it asked me to log in again. Now, I dunno why it did this... maybe you might know?

EDIT: I tested it out with a few names, it seems to work fine, no matter what URL you use.

I tried it again with my Jedi style set, and it still showed me as not logged in when I went to the forums page... and I do have cookies on and all that good stuff.

Maybe it's just the Jedi style set?

I just added a News Feed ("Top News") center block. At least this way we'll have a little more "content" on the Portal, along with the "Sports Scores" and "Virus Threats" we actually have some content on the Portal that will update regularly and I dun have to do squat to make the updates happen. :)

Yeah, I'm using IE, and I deleted all the cookies and basically started all fresh and new.

But it still doesn't keep me logged in when I click on the forum link.

What I have to do is click on the user cp link to the right, and then click on the forum link from there. That takes me to the forums without logging me out.
