How many babies must I kill to arrange a Red Sox vs Cubs 7 game world series? Please reply with desired number, and if desired, method of killing. Forward address for delivery of said baby corpses. May also negotiate for ownership of soul on ebay.

Thx,
Charley

PS: Whats the going rate to give the entire Yankee franchise a horrible strain of ebola? I'll take that also.

hehehe...

Can you imagine the TV ratings for a series like that? Network executives at Fox would gleefully wet themselves.

The world would stop for the entire series. I would shut myself off from the world until it was finished. It would be the best thing in sports, ever.

And talk about ticket prices.

Charley

People will offer their first born children for tickets. Bill Gates will offer Microsoft. Arnold will offer his candidacy. Courtney Love would confess to Kurt's murder.

This is how the world ends.
This is how the world ends.
Not with a bang, but with a 7 game series.

Well, the Cubs are holding up their end of the bargain so far... gotta get those Red Sox to come back in Game 4 with some fury and start hitting.

But yeah, Red Sox/Cubs. I don't really care who wins between the two, I'd just like to see Yankees lose to the Sox.

A Redsox/Cubs would be nice to see, seeming they havent won a series since what the 1600's??

I like you, but your choice in baseball teams is craptacular. :mneh

Put either the Cubs or the Red Sox in the series, and you have national interest. Put both in, and it's the biggest sporting event of the past 50 years. But, Yankees and Marlins? Outside of those two fan bases, few are going to care. I forsee a ratings plummet on the horizon.

There are several college football and NFL games that will have higher viewership than the Series this weekend.

craptacular? :lol probly, but Im happy cause I wont be stressing as to who wins.

Atleast, I dont think I will be..

As for the rest of the populace...wth's wrong with these ppl?? They should watch it as a matter of principle!

It's the same-old same-old... The Empire of Steinbrenner vs. (Insert Name of Arbitrary Quasi-Surprise Team with Lots of Spunk and Team Unity) or the Atlanta Braves. It's old hat, and outside of New York and the other host city, few people care. It's not compelling. It's like watching a re-run of the same World Series 5 of the last 6 years.

For a lot of people to really care, you need an interesting storyline that transcends the play on the field. Yankees/Marlins doesn't offer that.
