Victoria Bitter isn't exactly much better than Fosters.

Most common beer is nothing short of cat pee, wherever it comes from. I much prefer a James Boag premium personally.

I thought beer would make a fire worse. O.o Or is that only some kinds of alcohol?

I believe it would depend on the alcohol percentage

The alcohol content in beer is very low...around 5-10% depending on the beer or the location you buy it. You don't start seeing flammability until you reach 80 proof alchohol level, which are your more potent whisky's, rums, and PGA. Certainly nothing that you drink in multiple ounce servings is going to catch fire.

Very little booze is flammable. Wild Turkey 101, Bacardi 151, and Everclear, yes. Some other whisky's are, depending. Vodka is not.

What's really fun is to take a shot of 151, light a cigarette lighter, and spit through the flame. You'll breathe fire. I do this at parties occasionally. Don't like to do it often, I hate the taste of 151.

then Why do the fire breathing act if you don't like the stuff?

151 is nasty, but yes, the effect can be cool.

I did accidentally dribble some on my hand during one of these little stunts, so I had a nice blue flame raging on the back of my hand for about a second.
