Don't get my wrong, I love it. But the first day of condaiting sux! I'm so sore! I haven't use some of these muscles in like forever! It's hard to find extra time for that with work and school, I'm glad it's mandartory now.

I'll give soccer that much, its very demanding of your physical conditioning. I played intramurally my freshman year of college. Extremely tough to stay at the same level throughout a game.

Want a sport that will absolutely ruin you? Play some water polo. I have nothing but respect for those guys. They are hard as nails. At my best shape of my life, I couldn't finish a game.

Really? Wow... I don't think they offer water polo around here though. I'd probably have to drive like an hour to Orlando to find it.

Can I ask what water polo is?

It's sort of like playing volleyball in water too deep to stand up in.

:) lol. For some reason I find competitive swimming is tougher then soccer...Maybe because you can't breathe what you're going through...:)

football, soccer, it's all the same thing....
I've heard competitive swimming is very tough, wouldn't know first hand though... I have several friends who do competitive swimming...

The only time I'd be up for competitive swimming is if it was in the ocean, and my opponent was a shark.

Water polo is insanely difficult. Even at the peak of my swimming ability, I found it very tough.

Competitive swimming is challenging, although it depends upon the event. Butterfly, of any distance, is just painful.

It always looked extremely exhausting for little motion.

American Football = fun.

However, getting your hand/finger smashed between two helmets = pain.

In my youth, I was a swimmer/soccer player

I hated butterfly, but I could sprint it like the devil. Could never do more then a 50 though.

backstrock I was a god in my younger years. I would of gone to state if I didn't come into the wall with my head. Grrrr, damn 50m pool. Threw off all my counts.

Soccer, I was mid-field/defense. I didn't have much power, but I could get the ball to anyone I wanted it to go to with little effort. No Direct forward speed, but able to knock it up and have it land right in front of our strikers.
10th Grade, Broke a collar bone in the 2nd game of Rec League, didn't know it was busted, continued playing for 10 minutes. (Adrenaline wore off) Started to wiggle in pain. Which created more Pain.

Soccer/Swimmer Combos could do everything. If you swam, and played Soccer, you where in great shape.
