Not really, no. I realize that the thing's supposed to be just for fun, but there still wasn't much time or effort put into it.

Well, I didn't agree completely with the wording of every question, but I ended up with "Existentialist Kirkergaardian Christian."

Which isn't too far off, actually.

Rognan Dar
Oct 1st, 2003, 05:27:58 PM
Kirkergaardian isn't even a real word. I checked. This is just a bunch of balony.

The term is misspelled, but it is in reference to Soren Kierkegaard, a Danish intellectual and writer of 19th Century. He's somewhat regarded as the father of existentialism. And yes, it is a very valid term in describing a person whom follows his particular religious tendencies.

Or watches too much of the Matrix

Figrin D'an
Oct 1st, 2003, 10:32:49 PM
Yeah, that too...

What's really fun is to tell a Matrix fan whom thinks that those movies are "sooo incredibly deep" to go read something like "Waiting for Godot" or "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead," then laugh at them when the don't understand a word of it.

I was a Baha'i.

That's curious because I know/knew several of them. One of them was my best friend for awhile waaay back in middle school. Maybe I picked up a few things.

If you see a question that talks about Jesus, and say yes, and your thing comes up as a Christian, that is a thing I added, or tried to add. I also added a stupid one about being a Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy if you say yes that you like to use tanks in warfare, or something like that. :-\

You can submit questions if you say that your result isn't right.

I added one for jedi, but forgot what it was.

There was one book I read last semester on existentialism, but I forget its name. All I remember is thinking how pretentious it all was. O funny stuff.

Azhure Darkstone
Oct 2nd, 2003, 04:44:16 PM
You have to read it a few times, try having to act it out. Especially when you don't fully understand it (and I have an inkling the drama teacher only understood half of it too).

I'm frightened, because this was dead-on accurate.

- You are "in a belief system that acknowledges that the universe must have been createdby somthing, but not by anything humans understand, or anything that necessarily understands or knows of the existance of humans."
