Anbira sat in the Council room chambers, awaiting his peers to arrive. He had much to discuss about the padawan named Mr. Dust, particuarly concerning the man's readiness for Knighthood.

Wei walked into the Council chambers, and for once was not nervous at all.

"Morning, Master Anbira," Wei said with a smile. "How are you today?"

Wei was new to the council, and even though he had spoken with the council members before, it was only in a business sort of atmosphere. In short, he knew who they were, but he did not know them personally. It kind of bothered Wei that he would be spending much of his day around the other council members and not know them.

Dasquian entered and nodded in greeting to the two others, waiting to hear what subject they were meeting on this day.

Next in was the "Green Knight" Kelt Simoson, as always a kind smile displayed upon his lips.

' Master Anbira, Wei, Dasquian.' He nodded in greeting to each of them as he called their name. ' Hello to you...'

Wei shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. Right to business, as usual. "So, what's on your heart and mind, Anbira?"

Anbira Hicchoru
Oct 2nd, 2003, 12:22:10 PM
"I think it is time that we considered a member of our order for the position of Knighthood." Anbira spoke, a smile on his face.

"The reason I have convened the council, is to discuss the fate of the Jedi guardian, Mr. Dust. I believe the time is nigh for his promotion."

Morgan Evanar

Morgan took his seat, now next to Rie's.

"I've not seen much of him, as of late."

Figrin D'an
Oct 2nd, 2003, 09:35:31 PM
"I'm afraid I know all too little ofhis progress," Figrin added, just a few steps behind Morg. He took his seat, pondering his fellow councilor's request.

"Please present your case, Master Anbira."

Wei's attention was now fixed on Anbira. So much in fact that as Wei was stretching his hand behind himself to find his seat, he missed it completely and landed rump first on the floor.

"Who's Mr. Dust?" Wei asked. Wei propped his elbos up on the seat of his chair and rested his chin in his hand. "To be honest, I didn't even know you had Padawans, Anbira."

Navaria was nestled comfortably in her council seat and waited patiently for Anbira to speak.

"Oh, he is no padawan of mine, though I have it a point of interest to monitor his progress. His methods are, shall we say, unorthodox."

Wei Wu Wei
Oct 29th, 2003, 02:44:53 PM
"I can see why he would be so interesting. He certainly has a unique style, doesn't he?" Wei said with a grin.

"My only regret is that I have not yet met this man in person. But I do agree that he is more than ready for Knighthood."

Anbira Hicchoru

OOC: WAKE UP COUNCIL :)

"That he does, Wei." Anbira agreed.

"He is a member of one of our oldest sects, long separated from contact, even before the time of the Empire. I feel that he has a great many assets to bring before us."

Ryla Relvinian

"Although I do not know him personally, I respect the assessment of my fellow council members in this matter. His talents are truly unique, and I believe he sets a good example for the order, and follows our code."

I looked around at the faces of those in the seats circling the sun-lit council room. All I had heard about Mr. Dust was positive, and it certainly would be good to have one more knight.

"I say yes."

Figrin D'an
Nov 6th, 2003, 01:28:15 AM
Figrin read the dossier on Mr. Dust in silence, while the others traded comments. He certainly was different from the norm. Not a typical Jedi, by any means. But certainly one that possessed unique abilities, and had great potential.

But something caught the Jedi Master's eye that he did not quite understand.

"Master Anbira," he spoke at up at last, "am I correct in my understanding that Mr. Dust, and the others of his sect, are opposed to those of... Lupine tendancies?"

Kelt Simoson
Nov 7th, 2003, 01:01:24 AM
' Although i do not know the man personally, and would like to, i see that his dedication towards the Jedi is proud and standing, i have no disagreements in his raising on rank' Kelt said gently, his head turning towards Figrin as he asked his question.

Dasquian Belargic
Nov 7th, 2003, 05:45:56 AM
Dasquian simply had nothing to say. He didn’t know the Padawan or anything about him, but others opinions seemed positive and he was willing to trust their judgment, despite being a little concerned about the anti-Lupine fascination Dust and his counterparts had.

Wei Wu Wei
Nov 7th, 2003, 08:51:33 AM
"I noticed the Lupine thing too," Wei said. "Is there anyway we could arrange for Mr. Dust to explain himself? I still think he's ready for Knighthood, I just think it would be nice to have an explanation."

Mr Dust
Nov 8th, 2003, 10:25:58 PM
OOC: Do yall want me to show up now and explain? I'd be more than happy to.

Anbira Hicchoru
Nov 10th, 2003, 04:12:55 PM
OOC: Sure :)

IC:

"From what I have seen of the Lupine sect, I can empathize with Dust's motives. They seem a wicked lot."

Mr Dust
Nov 10th, 2003, 05:37:07 PM
OOC: If you would rather me wait until later, just tell me and I'll edit this post.

IC:
Mr. Dust bows deeply as he enters the council chambers, hat in hand. Out of respect for the council, the hat remains off.

Greetings. I received a summons that I was to attend. Might I ask why my presence was requested, and what I might do to serve the Council?

Figrin D'an
Nov 11th, 2003, 08:42:05 PM
"We have some questions about your Order, Mr. Dust," Figrin began, "particularly regarding your conflict with the Lupines. Perhaps you could indulge us with a bit of history on this matter?"

Wei Wu Wei
Nov 12th, 2003, 01:27:26 PM
Wei pulled himself up into his seat and leaned forward. He was very interested in hearing what Mr. Dust had to say.

Mr Dust
Nov 12th, 2003, 08:05:40 PM
He bows once more to the Council member who had addressed him. Taking a deep breath, he begins.

Members of the Council... the Guardians were once a part of the Greater Jedi organization which spread througout the galaxy. With time, as the number of Jedi dwindled, my people lost contact. None the less, we have maintained the ideals and structure of the Jedi throughout history. As we were spared the great Jedi purges at the hands of Vader and Palpatine, our Order has remained unbroken throughout the centuries.

And for all this time, we have persued one goal only: to defect the galaxy from the Lupines. I know that, to some of you, it would seem that we dislike the Lupines... perhaps even harbor hatred for them. I assure you, nothing of the sort is true. My people are called Guardians for a reason. We guard... we never attack. Never do we attack the Lupines, merely defend those unable to defend themselves. We do our best not to provoke the Lupines, and only defend against them when the need arises.

Do we hunt Lupines? No. Do we wage war against them? No. We have merely specialized in stopping them because they are, by far, the most pressing threat to that sector of the galaxy. I have been sent to this Order because my order does not know how to train me. My abilities have manifested in ways unknown to my ancestors. As such, I was sent to be trained by Jedi more familiar with the Force and its more unusual properties.

He bows once more.

I hope that I have assuaged your concerns...

Wei Wu Wei
Nov 13th, 2003, 10:49:40 AM
Wei nodded. "Lupines. Like that one thing that attacked me back in the day. I've heard about such attacks. A friend of mine was once attacked by two lupines."

Wei tossed what Mr. Dust had said around in his mind. "Very well then. I have no problem with it. Most other Jedi are trained to do battle with Dark Siders. I see no difference between your training to fight Lupines and the normal Jedi training to fight Darksiders."

Dasquian Belargic
Nov 13th, 2003, 10:58:01 AM
“So long as there is no deliberate persecution simply due to species, I see no problem.”

Kelt Simoson
Nov 13th, 2003, 11:10:04 AM
Kelt simpy nodded in agreement with his friend, Dasquians' last words.

Mr Dust
Nov 13th, 2003, 09:12:38 PM
He bows to the council once more.

I assure you, I have never, nor will I ever, attack another without considerable reason to do so.

Figrin D'an
Nov 13th, 2003, 09:33:22 PM
"Very well," Figrin responded. "My questions have been answered."

He looked to his fellow council members.

"Are there any other questions for Mr. Dust?," he asked calmly.

Dasquian Belargic
Nov 15th, 2003, 08:07:39 AM
“I have no further questions,” Dasquian replied, his resolve certain.

Wei Wu Wei
Nov 16th, 2003, 10:44:09 PM
Wei shrugged. "Nope. He's good."

Anbira Hicchoru
Nov 19th, 2003, 12:34:45 AM
"Then let the voting commence."

Anbira nodded.

Wei Wu Wei
Nov 19th, 2003, 01:21:34 PM
Wei raised a hand. "I vote 'yes.' High time it happened, too."

Figrin D'an
Nov 19th, 2003, 08:48:20 PM
"I cast my ballot in favor as well."

Kelt Simoson
Nov 20th, 2003, 04:10:20 AM
' I agree with both Wei and Figrin, i vote yes'

Dasquian Belargic
Nov 20th, 2003, 03:03:40 PM
“I vote yes, also.”

Anbira Hicchoru
Nov 24th, 2003, 01:51:37 AM
"The necessary majority has been reached, then."

Anbira nodded to Mr. Dust.

"Congratulations, Mr. Dust - Knight of the Jedi Order. May the great privilege of your rank carry the solemn burden of a true Jedi's responsibility."

Mr Dust
Nov 24th, 2003, 10:23:18 PM
Mr. Dust bows deeply to the Council.

I thank you all. I am indeed honored. I shall not fail you.

With that, Mr. Dust bows once more and exits the council room.
