Your character comes from a planet that doesn't have someone already playing that planets senator...the planet must also be in the NR, or actively seeking membership to the New Republic...and...you have to be voted on by all the members of your planet. Or, appointed. Or whatever.

Basically, make an account, or get the name of an account changed to reflect your senatorial status. :)

I tried doing it the "old fashioned way", by going before the senate to ask for my representative planet(s) to join but it seems that their are no senate RPers to reply.

So your telling me that I just start calling myself "senator"?
