While the models aren't as impressive as WC3 (though that could be just the images they put up... maybe it'll look better in game?), it looks to be a promising and fun RTS. Reminds me a LOT of WC3.

Didn't read the title to this thread properly... either that or I was too eager to post up the link.

Anyhoo, my post #3 was refering to ANOTHER RTS called War Of The Rings. I played the demo last ngiht and it plays a lot like WC3. I think they may have used the same engine.


Battle for Middle Earth is different from War of the Rings in the sense it uses the Command & Conquer: Generals game engine.

Both are new RTS' based on the LOTR story, but they'll definitely have semi-different feels when played.

After playing The Two Towers on Playstation 2, I think ANY LOTR game I play will be amazing :p

I'll consider giving one (or both) a try... I think they'll be hard pressed to beat out WC3 and CC:G on my RTS list, though.
