This is what the station will look like when it is completed in phase 1 of construction, which will take about six months. The vertical spar of construction in the middle will house all of the crew quarters, recreation facilities, refreshers, entertainment district, cafeterias, etc. Basically where crews enjoy their time while their vessels are serviced. The middle horizontal spar contains all of the docking bays for the vessels. This spar extends like a ring around the station. In all, the docking bays can service this many vessels: 8 vessels 600-1200 Meters, 16 vessels 300-600 Meters, 60 vessels smaller than 300 Meters at the same time.
The top and bottom horizontal spars contain weapon systems to defend the station from attack. In all, 200 Heavy Turbolaser Batteries, 80 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons, 200 Concussion Missile Launchers, and 80 Ion Cannons were salvaged from P.o.Y. Each group of weapons are arrainged into clusters of 10, with the Batteries, and Missile Launchers being arrainged on the smaller horizontal spars, and the Cannons, and Cannons being arrainged on the vertical section. These weapons are represented by the large green blocks. The Red blocks represent starfighter bays. The ones on the central horizontal bar each contain a squadron of Defenders, are there are four small bays total for 48 Defenders. The two bays on the vertcial bar, one top, one bottm each contain a wing of starfighters totalling 72 Defenders, and 72 Scimitar Assault Fighters.
I will update this as new sections of the station are completed. I am still working on the construction post for the thread in storytelling.
