Development History:
The TIE/S was developed for the purpose of defending the boarders of Federacy space with ravenous malice. Unlike prior fighters developed by the Federacy and it’s band of technology monopolies, the Shrieker is capable of handling much larger vessels with relative ease. However, like the TIE/S’s cousins, the fighter is a blend of old and new technologies with much innovation. Sadly, the fighter has one of the main downfalls of all Federacy technology, price tag. A single Shrieker is comparative to a squadron of TIE Defenders in price, though, the firepower is much more significant.
Current Status: The first Shrieker squadron will be tested in the outer rim in a secure location within the week
Technology Explained:
ADMB “Densa”-Cannon
The “Densa”-Cannon uses a mixture of specially produced galvanizing crystals, engineered and specially refined blast gas, and compression chambers, as well as special particle accelerators and other “top-secret” system to create a solid energy beam of brute force, capable of tearing a gaping hole in most armors.
Enhanced Laser Gatling
The HL Gatling has heavily modified galvanizing crystals and feeds off the same blast fuel as the “Densa”-Cannon, though in much smaller quantities. The Gatling has 8 blast tubes that are cooled by the crystal cooling technology previously designed. The Gatling contains a “top-secret” element to cause the beam to become a “shredder” of shields and armor. Unlike its brethren in the Executioner and Reaper series, the HL Gatling cannot be set to ion, due to the complex nature of its beam.
GelGate Beta
The GelGate series uses the technology from the Alpha and Beta series hyperdrives with modified Maverick lab’s technology. The GelGate uses a “top-secret” motivator to decrease the size of the drive and protect it even from the Federacy’s interdiction.
Blazer X3
The Blazer series is a step up from the Mustang series. This new assault engine has superior compression and uses slightly less energy, allowing a superior velocity per centimeter ratio.
NightCrawler Tri-Array Engine
The NC-TAE engine is a maneuvering engine allowing the Shrieker to be capable of sharper maneuvers than any other vessel currently in the Federacy’s inventory. Furthermore, the NC-TAE operates superbly in atmosphere.
Aero-Package
Due to the single drop down wing of the Shrieker, special aero-maneuvering veins have been installed that allow superior control in atmosphere.
