Pageviews, definetly. For every post you get a lot of pageviews normally, and not every view is follow by someone posting.

Thats about 9,000 or so posts needed and about 210,000 or so pageviews needed.

Is there a way to tell who has the 500,000th post? We could do a nice prize for whomever gets that, just as a random fortune kind of thing. Like maybe a special signature or something?

I want to clarify something I did not fully express in my previous post. People who made picks the first time around who do not choose to pick a new date will retain their original date of choice, and not be disqualified from the contest, but in the event they would like to adjust their choice for our overall lower total post count now, will be allowed.

Make a fresh pick or stick with your old one. No one is being disqualified from the contest, but all are being given a second chance.

Entries/adjustments will be accepted until this coming Saturday.
