Kind of sad he has been struggling with Alzheimers I knew that and it sounded like he didn't have long last week.

I actually just read the news and was about to post a link. Another respected member of old Hollywood is gone.

Yeah he was in a lot of movies, its odd that he didn't become a star until the 70's. Especially considering being in some great movies like The Dirty Dozen, The Great Escape and The Magnificent Seven.

Charles Bronson was cool beyond words.

I'd heard he was very ill and not expected to live much longer, but this still makes me very, very sad.

:cry

I am sorry that is a sick joke.

How could he have been older than Christopher Lee? That's uncanny.

I'd rather remember him as the bad dude he was in those movies, instead of an incoherent alzheimer's patient, clinging to life. It really isn't that sick. Live a little.

Another of the Magnificent Seven rides off into the sunset :(

They only have Once Upon a Time In The West on yesterday. To me, he was he classic hard man. The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Dirty Dozen, Once Upon a Time in the West, Death Wish. Every one a classic.

Once Upon A Time in the West, one of my favorite all time films. Bronson was one of my Dad's favorite actors and he and my father had an eerie resemblance to each other. Which will help to explain why I was always scared to death my Dad would knock me senseless if I ever screwed up my life. The Mechanic with Jan Micheal Vincent was another good Bronson flick. It also had one of the best endings I've ever seen. Bye big guy. :angel

I just got back from vacation where I was kind of incommunicado and just heard - that's a darn shame... Take care - you were one of the greats...

I love the Death Wish movies. I've missed seeing him in the past dozen years, but now I'll really miss him.
