Can any of you give me some sites of different places to get Jedi robes that aren't the official rubies or whatever costumes. I am looking for something a little more real. ;)

Thanks

The full tunic outfit is fairly easy to make. It's the fabric that's the difficult part: It's soo expensve. Natural fibres are so hard to find.

Understood. I made a Qui-Gon tunic thing he wore in the Tattoine scenes out of burlap, but it looked real trashy so i ditched that quick.

This (http://www.carrollcostumes.com/Tunic.htm) is a great product (relatively cheap) and I was really looking into buying it. But there's one flaw--this guy's email doesn't work! And there's no other way to get ahold of him! It's crazy, because I wanted to ask some basic questions, but I couldn't.

Happy Hunting. :)

I just purchased 11 yards of cream colored raw silk to make my robes out of. :D

How much did it cost, Miss Relvinian? That's high quality material! :)

It cost me about 30 bucks, including shipping.

Dharmatrading.com - is my good friend. :)

Edit: And here's a pictures of the finished product (http://www.ryla.net/images/jedi.jpg)!

Total cost: 30 something bucks for fabric, a few bucks for thread, and whatever my time is worth. Probably took me about a day, total, to make this, though I spread it out over a few days. I topstitched every seam to make it lie flat and look professional. Verry easy to make. Anybody want one for much cheaper than 100 smackolas? ;)
